Derail

Complete | AIBA Kyoko | 2020 released

Two childhood friends mutually and unknowingly manipulate each other into a...romantic relationship. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Okay that turned out surprisingly wholesome??? They actually talked it out and the seme apologized for being a manipulative jerk? I was not expecting that. 6/10. Normally this kinda twisted melodrama annoying the crap outta me but this one turns out surprisingly good O_O

Tomodachi Ijou no Koto, Shitai.

Complete | KURAHASHI Tomo | 2015 released

Tbh I don't remember if I liked this or what. 6/10?

Reincarnation Idol & Idol Freak Night

Ongoing | Sakumoto Ayu | 2000 released

Loyal knight and his prince have been reincarnated over and over and this time it's as a cool salary man (knight) and an idol (prince) Overall it's cute, fluffy, and fun. I have no strong feelings but it was very easy to read and not too boring. 6/10

Pavlov's Lover

Complete | tsushiko | 2000 released

That age gap is the big mmmmmm factor for me. They coulda made him a broke uni student and bam, same dynamic. Anyway Both of these characters are weird but it makes them match so perfectly. I dont think I've ever seen a biting kink like this in any other BL I've read, and it was well done. Uh, yeah so make the seme just... not a kid and then actually pay him so we're not exploring child labor and voila this story would actually be so cute 6/10

Tsuki wa Michikake Kemono no Koi

Complete | nojiro guri | 2019 released

Guy moves out to the country to take care of a family house for a bit. Gets attacked by a yokai, gets saved by a komainu (dog statue) spirit, gets raped by the komainu for protection or whatever. Komainu then moves into his house and now they're gonna live together. There's a theme of loneliness, and the art is very pretty. Coulda seriously done without the rape and this would be good.... Update ch 5. Wow. That ending was sad. Didn't really feel like a resolution to me since it was so abrupt. It's like the story didn't consider anything but the romance, so once that was done, so was the character's life... I dunno. Hit exactly the type of angst I love, but also left me feeling a bit slighted (for whatever reason, this is the emotion I am left with) 6/10? 4/10? Not sure

Itadakimasu, wa Koi no Aji

Complete | Matsumoto Ayaka | 2022 released

Cute lil oneshot about a guy who just cant stand watching the popular guy at school eat non nutritious food and start cooking for him Lmao he's so dramatic refusing to eat if it's not from Mizuno (Also realizing I dont have a tag for a general popular x not popular for when seme uke dynamics aren't established....) 6/10

Boku wa Kimi ni Kamaretai

Ongoing | Suzume sasabe | 2022 released

I need a full volume about about these two

Lonely To Organdy

Complete | ogeretsu tanaka | 2016 released

Yknow. I want to say this hit me in the feels, but I honestly just couldn't get into it. After hitting his head in an accident, out MC is suddenly able to see the 17 yr old ghost that's been living in his apartment. MC was an aspiring mucision who's given up on his dreams after a heartbreakingly disastrous first street performance, but through his interactions with this ghost, he rediscovers his love for singing. I think knowing the ghost was... a ghost and given the very grounded tone of the story, I probably checked out emotionally before I even began. I want to say this was good and that it hurt or was cathartic or whatever, I cant. I just didn't engage with the story at all, so it didn't feel any different from all the other things I've read. I think it was just objectively good from an art, story, and execution standpoint so.... 6/10
