Stressed out salaryman (uke) being overworked at a black company suddenly runs into a kid, now grown up, he knew back in middle school (seme). Seme asks to move in temporarily while his boss, who he lives with, is in the hospital. Watching Hiro be stressed and worn down mentally by that job was starting to stress ME out (⋟﹏⋞). Shotout to Kaneko, his team lead or smth, for encouraging him to quit and pointing out just how badly the chief has twisted his image of himself. Kai's life was also sad af, just neglect after neglect, and it shows so clearly through his mindset. I really liked the old guy who took him. Also props to the son for recognizing what a shitty thing he did and genuinely apologizing for it. I liked a lot about this story, but the ending was just unsatisfying. It feels abrupt and like it didn't solve the underlying issues. Hiro quits his jobs, which I was rooting for. But Kai just abandons the old man who's cared for him for the past 5 or 6 years. There's nothing wrong with Kai moving on, I just wanted some scene with the old guy where he talks about it, so we can resolve that plot thread. idk. This was almost a 9; the ending brought it down to a 7; Kaneko, the old man, and the son brought it back up to an 8/10

Daughter of the yakuza becomes the teacher of a bunch if high school delinquents. She's so much fun and I love the genuine, caring, rough and tumble relationship she's built with her students. She's fiercely protective of them and they appreciate her in their own clumsy way. All the characters a super fun. I love the yakuza guys crying everytime something goes down with Yankumi. I also appreciate that they're still immoral yakuza even if they fiercely value family, loyalty and honor. Honestly this is (almosy) everything I wanted GTO to be. About a third thru, the focus shifts from the students to the yakuza, which is a shame cuz I was really enjoying the teacherness. We never REALLY get to know the students individually. Kuma I think is the only one we get to know on a deeper level. (me huffing copium that a manga from the early 2000s will have progressive ideas and treat women like people. Edit: To my surprise, it actually kinda did! Kinda!) We got SO close to getting a romance free story but tbh it wasnt intrusive and did add to the comedy of the characters. SPOILER I did almost cry over Shinohara leaving at the end. It really felt like they were losing a member of the family. Pain. Overall, I honestly enjoyed this a lot. Some of it hasn't aged well like the only openly gay teacher being an actual pedo and some... many... if the comments about the only other female teacher but I was pleasantly surprised that it wasnt grotesquely sexist or bigoted. So like. Sugoi. 7/10

Everyone gets character development! and there are so many little funny moments. I thought I wasn't gonna like the young master kid but he turned out great after a bit of character development and Riichi learning to stop spoiling him. Art is CLEAN and the story is cute. 7/10

bigger uke. i don't remember anything. gave it a 6/10 so i guess it just wasn't memorable to me. EDIT: past me was dumb. This is adorable bro. Salaryman uke has mad anxiety about sex and has had his confidence horribly eroded by a previous boss. After he meets the outgoing call boy and starts "practicing sex" hes able to talk to his coworkers for the first time and it's really, really sweet. The seme has a bit of a possessive streak, but hes mostly just supportive and encouraging and sweet. Also shoutout to the scary boss lady for immediately apologizing for being cranky at him for her own mistake. 8/10

Last read ch 10. Firefighters in training. Lmao why did it look like they were gonna kill each other while they fucked but also that was hot. Second lmao "the illegal disposal of yajima" haha. Ch 3. Urg noooo don't have a misunderstandingggg Ch 4. Yo hold up. ???? ayo are they gonna be okay?? Ch 5. Bruh this one is so goodddd. They're both frickin dumbass tsunderes and I'm living for it. Update ch 9. Noooooooooooooo 8/10

Ahhhhhh that was satisfying. Uke had a one night stand with a restaurant owner, starts working and living at the restaurant and the one night stand continues. The relationship is cute and the characters are pretty honest with their feelings and kiyo-san is a fantastic grandpa figure 9/10

got what i wanted out of it. stopped at season 1. really solid, might come back and finish 8/10

Absolutely adore this one. I love watching Yukinori struggle to get used to the job and make friends with all his coworkers. I love watching the increasingly protective Maki get attached to him and vice versa. And they communicate! Dude I love this one so much 8/10

Interesting twin dynamic (no incest!). Honestly wish there was more of the twin I'm a big fan of the way the younger twin goes to beat up a bunch of guys for messing with his bro. It's just like violently sweet 8/10
