EhhhHhhh I'm not very fond of this manhua tbh The translation isn't very good and the plot got tiring to read

Midori was the low self-esteem, quiet, out of place girl while Tsugumi was the more social, popular student. Suddenly after graduation, Tsugumi disappeared and headed to Tokyo (later revealed) without telling anyone. Seventeen years later, Midori was an ordinary office worker and one day her home phone number received a call from Tsugumi's relative out of the blue for an invitation to Tsugumi's funeral. Midori, who still hasn't moved on from her precious person, accepted and there, she met Tsugumi's 14 year old daughter, the spitting image of her mother. Without a place to go, a father who separated from the family ages ago, and relatives unwilling to take her in, people suggested to bring her to a child institution (like an orphanage) but just then, Midori (still the unconfident young girl from back then) interrupted and offered to take her in.
