man.. this was going to become one of my favorite gl’s I liked the plot, the characters, the art style, the developed interactions between bon bon head and shiqing But there wasn’t much romance between Xianchan and Shiqing like at all because it felt like only Shiqing is interested in Xianchan while Xianchan just thinks of her as like a friend or companion IM LITERALLY SHIPPING SHIQING MORE WITH BON BON HEAD The ending ruined it for me ☹️ author, pls stop chopping off the characters’ hair just like u did to yilin, ruoxi, and xianchan They got rid of the antagonist, uncovered the mysteries to unsolved cases, and got their answers they were searching for. But like cmon man, Xianchan lost her memories ONCE AGAIN, we don’t even know what happened to bon bon head, charcoal head died, and Shiqing is now depressed being the only one that remembers everything they went through. We just want a fulfilling concrete ending man reminds me of jwqs’s ending

One of my first gl’s along with 她门的故事 The slow burn is real It feels like I’m reading something the author herself has went through because of how long the story was, yk like as if I’m watching their daily lives go by as their love grows I like how the story included a conflict that involved their parents; I feel like I could understand it rlly well; asian parents against homosexuality, filial piety and all that their love felt very genuine and like something I want to experience wished ruoxi would be more open about her thoughts with yilin and not carry all the burden herself the ending felt rushed, I wish there were more to it after they reunited first reaction to it was “that’s it?” :(

Heehee I like how the story mentions self love and how Shizimu helped Maekawa discover her passion and helping her pursue being a manga creator. At one point, Maekawa realized that Shizimu became her biggest motivation and wanted her to witness herself succeed, which I think is really admirable. They found love in each other and gradually started loving themselves again as they dated. I want to be like that someday too The story doesn’t really get boring because I think that the characters are quite realistic as I can relate to both of these characters and I think a lot of society can too. Ex: commitment into a relationship, finding love in yuri comics, scared to love, low confidence, low self esteem, leaving behind something you were really passionate about. I wonder how Shizimu manages her time engineering during the day, creating doujins at night

I feel like after Sigrid came back to the past, her character changed a bit too drastically compared to her past self cuz she literally used to do EVERYTHING the emperor ordered. This includes BURNING DOWN AN INNOCENT VILLAGE WITH INNOCENT PEOPLE. I think more realistically she would be somewhat more of a sociopath. But other than that, the pacing is good and I like the plot. The colors are nice too. But uh I think Sigrid’s eyes are drawn a bit big. Rowengreen so slay Female protagonists with swords

read this a while back in 7th or 8th grade when it was still updating gonna reread 5/2/23 Review: Okayyy soooo, I rlly enjoyed reading this. Pretty much binged through all of the chapters in 3 days. I like Sung Jin-woo’s development with the other characters in the story along with his shadow soldiers ahahahaha Beru and Igris. I like how the plot shows everything behind jin-woo’s powers, the system, the whole backstory with the rulers and monarchs, foreshadowing, and all that. The action and details were also drawn pretty gud. I like how it showed Igris’s thoughts and how everything was kinda planned as we found out the original shadow monarch or Ashborn picked Jin-woo to become his vessel. Ngl, the ending was disappointing. WHY DO ALL MY FAVORITE STORIES HAVE THEIR CHARACTERS’ MEMORY WIPED AT THE END LIKE WHY????? I think it would have been better if they stayed like that like without Jin-woo using the cup of reincarnation, turning back time, all that cuz like there’s barely any characters that died besides his father and the chairman. anywaysss the purple color is so much more compared to the blue I love how the shadow army has their own civilization and their personalities and how they cheered when their liege went on a date with Cha Han-In in the extras, so cute haha, best girl in the story by far
