It ended up being cute in that overly prudish, shallow shoujo manga tropes kind of way. It also ‘cured’ the yandere tendencies of the LI which was the opposite of what I wanted in a yandere romance story. Just kind of meh overall, but I did like the message about the importance of communicating in a relationship and not expecting your partner to know you care about them without ever affirming that.

DNF at ch2. While I picked this up for the unique relationship dynamics, the stories themselves are shallow and unsatisfying. It’s just PWP.

DNF at ch5. Just lost interest.

DNF at ch41. This story is a mess, and it just feels like it keeps spinning its wheels and going nowhere. Also I think neither of the MCs are either likable or interesting.

DNF at ch9. The story isn’t bad, but there’s not much of a plot so I got bored.

Paused at ch11. No updates since Aug 2023.

Paused at ch17. Waiting on chapters.

DNF at ch12. this is not a romance. its more bleak than i like, and while i’m interested in seeing if the MC can get out of prison and back to his family at this point, I just can’t keep reading about all of the constant violent rape of the MC.

One of my favorite kinds of romance, two equally manipulative and obsessed people getting together. I also like the message that you can be lovers and still be best friends too.
