Read this twice just to get in the zone for the extra Pros - the art is beautiful, all of them were so hot, I didn’t know what to do with myself - more healthy than my salad - a MATURE and REALISTIC relationships - decent plot, no unnecessary conflict, not over exaggerated - so damn cute but still kept certain level of maturity - when Jaemin rubs his head on Juhyo’s shoulder - being petty over not having a heart next to his name Cons - a little fast paced for me, would’ve like it more if they ease into the relationship a little slower

One is a cinnamon roll that goes out of his way to help anyone in need. One is a rich, arrogant and handsome daddy. What else can one ask for. If this was a family, Hanhoo would be my husband and Chansol would be my dog. My husband then would fuck my dog. Makes perfect sense. Light mystery manhwa, wasn’t too intense but it was enjoyable. Chansol was an orphan since he was a child. Rumor about him being unlucky caused people around to him to keep their distance. Chansol childhood caused him to have trauma about people believing the rumor and leaving him. He developed habits of helping other because it was the only way to be liked by everyone. This lead him to meeting Hanhoo in high school. In attempt to keep Hanhoo from being expelled, he insist on working on the project together and they became friends. However, on the day he stayed late at Hanhoo, all the people in his orphanage was murdered and he had to move away to guarantee his safety. After seven years, fate does it thing as they meet again after Chansol accidentally applied to be Hanhoo manager. Chansol however did not recognize the guy, and Hanhoo did not recognize his feelings. Overall, it was a series of these two idiots trying to track down the murderer and failing at romance. Everytime Chansol (the cinnamon roll) clenched his fist, i would be on the floor rolling. Hanhoo is still as cheeky as ever but now he’s pulling the gun on anyone that annoyed him. A total maniac and we’re all here for it.The romance was slow paced, cute and CLEAN. The mini drawing was hilarious, making the whole thing very enjoyable. The confession was literally so damn perfect. “My tomorrow became you” WHAT THE FUCK, WHO WOULDN’T SCREAM AT THAT. Overall 10/10, go read it 10 more million times.

A continuation of the side characters in For Your Love! To be completely honest, Yuri was my favorite character when I first started reading FYL and I was so excited for this story. Let’s begin by talking about the good points in this story. I love Yuri and Mr. Lee as characters. I think they both have a lot of depth and a distinct personality. The story for these two is a lot darker than the original work, but I think it suits them a lot. The plot is a lot more heavy and dig deep into the characters emotions which resonate with me. I also like the pacing, it is slow but that really allow the emotions to shimmer. One of my favorite trophe is when “a good person” is treated unfairly by the world. A realistic world where being “good” doesn’t guarantee that good things will come. I think the best part about this story is how Mr. Lee is constantly knocked down by the world, over and over again, until he met Yuri. Then slowly, Yuri brought life back into his world. Watching Mr. Lee regains the happiness and peace each passing episode is a long and emotional journey. But this is precisely what makes this story so good. I enjoyed watching them being the pillar for one another throughout the series and this is easily one of the most underrated story out there. In FYL, I see Yuri being a good friends for Yohan, yet there weren’t an opportunity to for Yohan to return that kindness since FYL isn’t focused on Yuri. Which is why I was EXTREMELY happy to see that this story shows Yohan’s support and was the friend Yuri needs in his lowest moments. A small detail that makes a huge difference for me is how much I love the way Yuri and his sisters were able to mend their relationships just a little bit. The story doesn’t have to focus on just the main relationship, rather, I feel like the side relationships are just as important and really do elevate the story a lot. However, this story did not come without flaws. May I even say that the story fell short of my expectations considering how successful FYL was. There were a bunch of things that was uncomfortable, which is expected considering the genre of this story. The big one is obviously Yuri’s feelings towards his nonbiological sister. Another is their physical relationship which often happen when one isn’t sober. It also feels pretty forceful sometimes. While both are things I wished were different, they didn’t bother me significantly. Something that bothered me a lot is Yuri in the side story. I can’t help but feel that Yuri is extremely disrespectful and the relationship contains a lot of toxicity. Not only does Yuri constantly refers to Mr. Lee as a “manwhore”, his behavior towards his past is very childish. Furthermore, Yuri has an unhealthy attachment to Mr. Lee and would not leave him alone. I also don’t like how he purposely guilt trips Seonwoo into a lot of things. I feel like the side stories were out of place as it went in a completely opposite direction from the main plot lines. Yuri spend the entire story building up Mr. Lee’s confident and help him not to feel guilty about things that aren’t his fault. Yet the side stories turned around and have Yuri did the exact things that hurts Seonwoo the most. The side stories in my opinion did not fit the story at all and was a bad addition. Furthermore, I feel like the story was able to be somewhat well received thanks to a lot of influence from FYL. I feel like Yuri as a character is quite controversial. Without prior knowledge and bias, it would be hard to get into this story. Overall I gave the story 4 stars but maybe it was more of a 3.5.
