Tell Me You Can Hear It

Complete | hahae | 2019 released

I thought the romance was going to be superficial since the uke liked the seme for his looks, but it was so fluffy and wholesome!!! The mind reading was an interesting plot point LOL. If there was more smut, I’d give five stars

Osananajimi Dakedo Seiteki ni Suki desu.

Ongoing | Sakumoto ayu | 2022 released

Love when they both are in love and think it’s unrequited. The seme’s inner dialogue was so funny. Second couple, wtf. Step brothers but the seme kissed uke when he was drunk?? um not cool. he can't control himself

Koisuru Taka wa Tsume o Kakusu

Complete | MITO Hitomi | 2013 released

Skimmed. Plot was too slow and had unnecessary cliff hangers. Also the relationship felt forced.

Fake Fact Lips

Complete | SUEHIRO Machi | 2020 released

Chefs kisses. Beautiful art. Beautiful characters. Enemies to lovers trope. Backstory. Respectful relationship. Perfect story pace and development. Wow.

Bad Friend

Complete | Hkmi | 2019 released

Great characters and great dramatic war/revenge plot. I feel like the main characters, especially the seme had a lot of plot armor, but I can’t criticize that too much. Lots of smut and surprised no one caught them in the act considering how many time they did it or the seme was just sneaking onto the premises. The enemies to lovers drama in the beginning was my fav part.

Bakemono no Hanayome

Complete | Teo akihisa | 2019 released

Dropped. I swear I read this before. It’s basically Stockholm syndrome

Sankaku Twilight

Complete | Hakata | 2022 released

Super wholesome relationship !! And beautiful art. I wish the childhood friend could have a redemption arc and find love too

Smoky Nectar

Complete | Minazuki Akira | 2000 released

Mm yes this was hot. The art is also pretty nice. The story was meh…the seme was cool but the uke was all over the place? He really couldn’t do anything without the seme needing to swoop in to save his ass

Checkmate(TAN)

Complete | TAN | 2000 released

Wow. I was debating between 4 and 5 stars. The characters were bad ass and sexy af. The sexual tension between them was chefs kisses. I’ve never seen it executed SO WELL. So fierce and spicy. The beginning tho… rapey. It was basically rape but the relationship got better over time I guess. Not much romance or fluff. All mind games. Also, the uke especially needs therapy bc wow were things toxic. But he was so capable and cool so I can’t be that mad. Tbh I really wanted to drop the story in the beginning with the rapey scene, but the plot was just so interesting

Gold Gray

Complete | LEE Geu-rin | 2018 released

So the story was good at first, but then it was literally the same toxic behavior over and over again. I felt like the characters got more stupid over time. I loved how feisty the uke was in the beginning and how standoff the seme was like the rich boy he is. There’s always some crisis where usually the uke is in danger and the seme come running and being sorry for whatever the fuck. The whole omega lab thing played a part…but its part was so weak. Also not a fan of the art style. The fluff was so nice in the beginning but then that and even the smut got boring. I definitely skimmed and skipped the last 40 chapters. It did not need to drag out that long.
