THE WERE BOTH SAVING THEMSELVES UNTIL MARRIAGE?! Where in harlequin history have you ever seen such an anomaly?! This almost made me give it 5 stars! I love that so so much and I’m so glad they didn’t have sex before the got married! A big yes in my book. This loses a star simply because she was a little bit annoying and I feel like the story is missing something. I’m not sure what but there is definitely a gap that wasn’t filled. Other than that, great manga!

Before I start anything, let me just say that the art??? THE ART?! Easily one of my favourite art styles. The girls are gorgeous but the men?!! Absolutely stunning Anyways, back to the manga, it was pretty good! Nothing too crazy! I dislike his mother, a lot. I like their chemistry. It’s not all that special but at least it was there. I normally hate the whole “I wanna lose my virginity because I want to feel wild or sexy” trope cuz it’s bs and so so stupid. Being a virgin does not make you any less sexy and it does not undermine your femininity or adulthood. Like let’s get it together. With that being said, I didn’t mind this one too much. Idk maybe because she had a backbone or was a little more mature in her own special way. Some of the reactions were so unnecessary but somewhat understandable. Oh and I could definitely not get behind her friends. Their advice was a no (apart from the end when one of them kinda tried). Like you guys at your grown age and telling her to just go and have sex to help her womanly endeavors is so juvenile and risky. I understand them encouraging her to let her hair down but the rest was just a big no. Then the fact that they left her to go and stay with a complete stranger?! I don’t care if he’s a super famous celebrity or the holiest person in the world. That’s still incredibly dangerous. I had knock off one star for the bs but other than that, it was pretty good! On the read the first book!

This was a pretty fun read. I LOVE that Tess has a freaking backbone!!! Homegirl was not playing! I love that she always put Matt in his place and I enjoyed every second of it! She’s so young but didn’t understand how mature she is. I’m also so happy that she found something she loved and wanted to do with her life! People don’t understand how amazing that is so props to her! I love her positive attitude and outlook towards things. She’s such a gem! Matt was also pretty good apart from the last part but I loved that he had to grovel before she took him back. Now, he did say some messed up things that definitely warranted a hot slap (maybe 2) so I’m glad she made him work for her forgiveness. You could actually feel remorse from him which you don’t typically get from Harlequin MLs so that was refreshing to see. Samantha was cool as well. Nothing really to say about her. Her circumstances were pretty sad but I’m glad it worked out in the end for the baby ️ Overall, this was a super cute and easy read. No drama really and it was done nicely. Although I don’t like bbv, I’ll tolerate it in this one. 5 stars!

Wow… This was actually pretty sad. Like fighting tears sad. Such a strong groups of people. I really liked it. But you know what I disliked? Her husband. I understand that grief can be quite an overwhelming and unpleasant feeling but to leave your wife at her most vulnerable time is a dick move to me. He is absolutely messed up for that and I said what I said.
