Mystery Lover
The Dawn Sheik's Red-Ruby Princess
It was ok tbh. Honestly, this whole series was lowkey a bore and a chore to read which is new because at least one in the series is normally amazing. Idk what they did but yeah. Things were pretty rushed even for a harlequin manga. They need to do better. I gave it 3 stars just to be nice.
The Unwilling Bride
This was cute and lighthearted but it was quite confusing tbh. Like why was he pretending to not be able to speak English fluently??? Did he tell her the truth??? This whole thing was so confusing. There were too many words at some parts so it was hard to follow. Idk mehn. At least he wasn’t a headass. He was quite adorable and she was good too.
The Sheikh and His Silver Haired Angel
Ok forget everything else because this actually made me shed tears. Juliet is such a strong woman. I don’t even have kids and don’t think I can do what she did. She lived such a sad life in order to help other people even those that made the situation as such and that my friends is the human definition of an angel. And I feel so bad for Karim and his dad too. They also suffered a lot. I can’t even imagine it. And let’s not even talk about Lilia and what she had to endure. Heck even Ai’sha suffered! This whole manga was just filled with strong af people who have had to overcome so much physical and mental adversities. It was actually quite touching and inspiring and I’m glad the characters got happy endings. Now moving from the mushy stuff, when Karim tried to have his way with Lilia, twice may I add, I almost wanted to reach into the book and break a mini (but still effective) cinder block on his big bozo looking head because what the actual f??? He is lucky I’m still emotional otherwise his behind would have lowkey gotten torn up with his goat self. Anyways, good but sad book. Read at your own risk! S/N: ok after reading the comments, some people actually brought up valid points. Juliet didn’t have to treat Karim like that. She could have just told him that she had to leave because she was trying to protect him and since he went abroad to study, he could have seen her sometimes. Since he’s also the king, he could have brought her back when he took over or something. I understand that maybe she thought her way was the best course of action but I do feel like there could have been a less traumatizing way to deal with the issue but I digress.
Oji-sama Shousetsu-ka to Papa-Katsu Hajimemashita!?
Hired: The Boss's Bride
This was pretty cute. No drama. She kinda annoyed me towards the end but it was all good.
Crazy About Her Impossible Boss
Wow… where do I even begin??? First, May God never allow me to have an unrequited love because if there’s one thing these harlequin mangas have taught me is that this kind of scenarios turn women into absolutely stupid and obliviously naïve mumus and I honestly can’t get behind that ghettoness.
The Fierce and Tender Sheikh
It was ok. Mediocre and boring at best. Was kinda interesting and then went downhill from there. Sis was also quite annoying and had this headache inducing personality that I just couldn’t get behind. She’s lucky she had such a patient guy cuz I would been left by then. Not to say he’s innocent either cuz he had his moments, although brief, were present.
