Wow! This was so stinking adorable!!! It was actually so perfect. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars

Alright, Marlene can take the award for the baddest FL Harlequin has ever seen! Homegirl was phenomenal! She had enough balls for Rocco and every other character in the manga! And that punch?!!! I want to be like her when I grow up. I could go on and on! My only issue with her was that she gave into Rocco AND slept with him even though he was a complete moronic dickhead to her. I wish she didn’t let him have her at least until the end (even though I don’t think he truly deserves her). Other than that, sis was amazing! Now on to Rocco, who was a dickless loser. Especially in the beginning. The way he and the other peasants were shooting out venomous words at Marlene and Paul was so mind boggling to me considering the fact that she was wealthier and more intelligent than all of them put together. Honestly he didn’t deserve her, at least not that easily. I really wish she made him suffer because he deserved it. I get his reasoning but still. At least he apologized more than once but it still did not make up for the bs he did and said. The peasants got what they deserved and I wish they also got jail time for their wickedness especially daddy and mummy dummy. They deserved to be branded with hot iron everyday (and some other things) for the nonsense they did to Marlene, Paul and especially Paolo. Poor guy. But I’m glad that he and Marlene’s mum found happiness at the end of the day. This got 5 stars simply because of Marlene’s queen behaviour and Paul’s adorableness!

Just re-read this and my goodness was I bored. It wasn’t so bad in the beginning but the middle and the end were borderline a snooze fest. It’s good, don’t get me wrong but my brain struggled to continue reading this.

Nothing more to say than it was adorable! I see why it has such a high rating! S/N: the fact that it took me a minute to guess the end is silly to me but it was still cute

I really wanted to like this but my goodness there were so many freaking words!! It was so hard to follow cuz every page had like 250 words on them. I know they were trying to include historical aspects but honestly it was a big no from me. It was also very boring and dry. Like hit snooze boring. I hate that narrative that some of these stupid harlequin mangas push where in order to be a “true woman” or become yourself, you have to sleep with a man. Like burn and throw the whole thing away. Charley was also very much delusional when she said she could do without children and just wanted him. Like girl stop lying to everyone here including yourself. I also hate that narrative/trope. Yes it is possible but let’s not act like it is in this situation. I actually don’t like this manga all that much. I wanted to but I don’t. There were just too many annoying factors in it. It even feels criminal to give this 2 stars. Very beautiful art, but everything else is a no.

This was pretty cute. Nothing crazy apart from that low life useless scumbag. Such a trash loser. Other than that nincompoop, everyone else was good! Daisy is adorable and I loved how Xander warmed up to her! 5 stars!

Loved this one! Both books are adorable (thank God) but there is always that one ugly pest running around doing something stupid. Homegirl should have been sent to the deepest parts of jail where she will stay for the rest of her life. Her reputation ruined and her bank accounts empty and those are the least of what she deserved. Goat Now moving on from that toxic hound, I loved Darius and Andy! They were adorable. Although, he had his shortcomings, especially him threatening her in order for them to go on a date together, he was pretty sweet, humourous and kind of a dork plus he was hot! Andy was awesome too! I admire her strength and determination. She deserves the world! One thing I’m still not 100% about is the whole issue with his mum. Idk it was pretty weird to me but whatever I guess. Maybe the next time I read this, I’ll get it. 5 stars! S/N: We love an overly protective sister!

Wow! This definitely made me tear up. It was such a beautiful tragedy. She’s so strong my goodness. They both are and deserve the whole world and more. His mother should have been put in her place cuz she was od-ing. Yes she has been through her own share for sadness but pushing that on to other people was messed up and honestly really annoying. And I hate the fact that she didn’t take responsibility for it or even apologize. Yeah I don’t blame Maya for her reactions. I absolutely love their grandad. He made me so emotional especially at the end. Like I was fighting tears. This was too good not to give 5 stars.

I removed a star because the grandparents didn’t apologize for all the pain them and their son caused Chantal and Lily. Other than that, loved it! S/N: I just came from my kindle so I can make this comment. Her ex husband’s parents don’t deserve redemption or mercy. Such wicked and evil individuals. Look at what they did to not only their own son, but his wives (both real and fake), the children involved, Demetrius and even down to Nicolette. I hate that they tried to humanize them after all the inhumane things they did. After being abused by her husband, then you add their own abuse on top of Chantal’s head and we’re just supposed to be ok with that?! Hell freaking no! They should have just left and let them die a painful and sorrowful death. I know that seems heartless but it’s what they deserve for being heartless. Next.

Pretty cute and simple. She was too clumsy and naïve for my liking but she’s fine. I love how sweet Sugai is towards her. Very drawn out but still interesting! Also loved Sakai senpai! She’s so kind and considerate! I love her sense of loyalty and protectiveness! Like an older sister type of vibe. I should lowkey take a star out 2 away since they baited us into thinking we were going to get some action from them
