Alright, Marlene can take the award for the baddest FL Harlequin has ever seen! Homegirl was phenomenal! She had enough balls for Rocco and every other character in the manga! And that punch?!!! I want to be like her when I grow up. I could go on and on! My only issue with her was that she gave into Rocco AND slept with him even though he was a complete moronic dickhead to her. I wish she didn’t let him have her at least until the end (even though I don’t think he truly deserves her). Other than that, sis was amazing! Now on to Rocco, who was a dickless loser. Especially in the beginning. The way he and the other peasants were shooting out venomous words at Marlene and Paul was so mind boggling to me considering the fact that she was wealthier and more intelligent than all of them put together. Honestly he didn’t deserve her, at least not that easily. I really wish she made him suffer because he deserved it. I get his reasoning but still. At least he apologized more than once but it still did not make up for the bs he did and said. The peasants got what they deserved and I wish they also got jail time for their wickedness especially daddy and mummy dummy. They deserved to be branded with hot iron everyday (and some other things) for the nonsense they did to Marlene, Paul and especially Paolo. Poor guy. But I’m glad that he and Marlene’s mum found happiness at the end of the day. This got 5 stars simply because of Marlene’s queen behaviour and Paul’s adorableness!

Nothing more to say than it was adorable! I see why it has such a high rating! S/N: the fact that it took me a minute to guess the end is silly to me but it was still cute

This was pretty cute. Nothing crazy apart from that low life useless scumbag. Such a trash loser. Other than that nincompoop, everyone else was good! Daisy is adorable and I loved how Xander warmed up to her! 5 stars!

Wow… This was pretty sad and disheartening. Like it could have been all avoided if daddy dearest just had the slightest bit of confidence and trust in himself and his wife but alas he had to suffer from insecure mumu syndrome. Like the whole tragedy was too much. I want to write more but I’ll keep it short. I absolutely loved Jo and Cameron, both as individuals and as a couple. They were fantastic and so adorable together! I’m tired now but if I think of anymore things to add, I’ll do that!

Sometimes when I look at these tags, I get mad all over again because wtf??? This would have been fine but homegirl is much too dramatic. As a woman, I understand the pressure but this nitwit should have put on her big girl panties and COMMUNICATED instead of acting just as childish as the kids. She was also kinda of annoying and impulsive. Then on to mumu daddy. That stupid comment he made about setting the table being “a woman’s job” ticked me off so much. I’m not even sure he apologized for that stupid comment. One thing I’ll give her is that she was quick to call that goat out. This would have been easily 3 stars simply because it’s cliché and nothing special but the end, the end was unbelievably od-ed and anti climactic. Next.

I removed a star because the grandparents didn’t apologize for all the pain them and their son caused Chantal and Lily. Other than that, loved it! S/N: I just came from my kindle so I can make this comment. Her ex husband’s parents don’t deserve redemption or mercy. Such wicked and evil individuals. Look at what they did to not only their own son, but his wives (both real and fake), the children involved, Demetrius and even down to Nicolette. I hate that they tried to humanize them after all the inhumane things they did. After being abused by her husband, then you add their own abuse on top of Chantal’s head and we’re just supposed to be ok with that?! Hell freaking no! They should have just left and let them die a painful and sorrowful death. I know that seems heartless but it’s what they deserve for being heartless. Next.

As someone who has read this a good amount of times, I’m not gonna lie but I was fighting pretty heavy tears reading this manga. I don’t even remember it being this sad. Their lives have been pretty tragic but yet they were strong enough to overcome their trauma, pain and grief. It’s amazing honestly. I love everyone in this apart from their abhorrent trashy poor excuses of rubbish parents, sisters and his wife. I hope none of them died but are living pitiful and horrid lives because it’s the least they deserve. But when I say I love everyone else, I truly mean it! So amazing and sweet and just perfect! The sense of community was just so heartwarming and wholesome. It even made me want to move there I don’t even care that they’ve know each other all but 3 seconds, they were much too cute for it to matter. I just love this!

This was so good but pretty sad in its own way. I felt so bad for Lizzy and Rico. They didn’t deserve what they went through as children and even when they got older. Their families (apart from Maria and Paulo) could burn in the deepest parts of hell. They deserve so many bad things to happen to them. Honestly, I know this might be a bit controversial to say but I think it’s a good thing that Paulo and Maria died. Can you imagine what they would have gone through if they were alive and they had to deal with the poor excuses for animals?! Yeah as messed up as it sounds, I think that they still got a better route which feels so terrible to say. Both of the families are absolute pieces of worst type of garbage. Like atrociously horrid. What f ed up beasts. I’m just really happy that both leads and Ben get to live happy lives. What I didn’t like however was that they never really acknowledged Lizzy’s inner beauty or outer beauty and that kind of pissed me off. She didn’t deserve all that bs. Her reactions are completely understandable. It makes the story a bit shallow. Plus honestly speaking, although I like them as a couple, there was not enough for me to actually love or enjoy them as a couple. They don’t even have the authenticity that is needed. But it’s better than nothing I guess. S/N: I’m so glad that he punched his brother. That was definitely long overdue. They are the worst kind of people.
