It was alright. Most the main couple have done is kiss like three times and two of them were an accident And don't tell me "its a fluffy shounen ai" it was barely fluffy and it wasn't that funny either, it was kind of boring too. "Who can define popularity?" Is an example of a fluffy shounen ai (no smut) that is also funny and cute. This story also has so much unexplored territory and unexplained things. How did the curse just go poof? Why didn't we see more of Taeho's relationship with his mom? Why did she change? Has Yeon's dad changed? Will their relationship improve? Is Yeon going to continue being an actor or quit? Like, there were so many interesting things to explore yet they chose to make like 9 side stories with no value or fluffiness. It just gets tiring after a while. Also a bit disappointing how Ahn Jun literally kissing Taeho w/o consent then encouraging a girl to SA Yeon when he was asleep + drugged wasn't addressed at all. In fact, they act like what he's done is minor, like NO HES NOT CUTE, HES A HORRIBLE PERSON AND A MANBABY HE NEEDS TO BE IN JAIL 2.5/5 rounded to 3. Wouldn't reread, could've been better.

The plot was good but I really wasn't feeling a connection between Seungmin and Hyun-je. Maybe because they don't really know eachother well, and this is acknowledged multiple times, yet they never do get to know each other. I don't know if it's because Hyunje is a really dry texter or if it's because he has essentially, no personality, but there was not a single moment were I felt they connected, no moment that made me think Seungmin's love justifiably went past being an excessive fan boy, or that Hyunje even loved Seungmin. It's a big point too, he hasn't received love, so he doesn't know how to express it, but they never expand on this and never teach him how to express his love in the story, it could've been a great character arc, but instead they settle for the typical 'obsessive male lead' route in which instead of learning how to express his love (?) properly, he treads on borderline obsession boundaries. A great story which was just handled wrongly. 3/5

Rlly adorable and pure fluff. So fluffy I am crying. I liked how they didn't become a couple (yet?), only friends. Nice for a change. I really like Nakamura, he's adorable.
