Oyasumnya's manga / #dark(3)

This is was initially recommended by my fav youtuber and streamer. I was doubting to checkout it out for quite a while until I finally had the courage to read it. I'm not a huge fan of reading horror and gore type webtoons or manga unless the reading level is tolerable. (And by that, I mean the plot etc.) This tho is really fucked up. Regardless, I'd still rate it a 4/5. Imo, the story is very interesting in a way where you end up wanting to know more what happens next to the characters. You really can't judge a book by its cover and a family can either boost or mess you up depending on how they raise you.. also how the parents handle things. Both Bum and Sangwoo definitely had it rough. I still couldn't understand Bum, why his thinking is very different. His personality must've come from his parents or just the way his uncle and grandma treated him. It was also very graphic. There wasn't much yaoi genre in the webtoon so idk why that genre was included. Anyway, glad I'm over it. The ending was really tragic. I hope koogi-songsaengnim will write another bl that's a little more fluffy. Tysm!

The concept is a little cliche in some way but very dark at the same time. What the uke experienced pretty much happened to all the other victims out there irl so story wise, it's not really that new. I feel bad for the uke getting attacked psychologically like that tho and their relationship is far from being romantic.. If anything, he was forced and even felt guilty for cutting the seme or even hitting his head. Just another dark story out there..

I've read a few of this mangaka's works and they are have good plots but it just hits different if the plot becomes too too realistic and creepy. That's pretty much where you have to draw the line. I just feel bad for the kid.. the story is just very twisted. Can't believe pedophilia is being romanticised this way, it's just too wrong. Dropping this manga. Can't continue reading it..
