The FL isn't your strong type of FL,she does many many wrong decisions,for example,when the Crown Prince told her to be his wife, Edmund told her to escape with him, something she refused to do,he told her it would be his last chance and he wouldn't repeat it again,because he was risking his life doing so,but she refused and Edmund just gave up and told her it was the last time he would say it, after refusing she went with the crown prince,spent the night with him,and the next day , it was the crown prince coronation,that day she decided to tell the truth,everyone was chocked,because she decided to deceive the crown prince and ruined the coronation day ,even so,the crown prince told her he would still protect her and would accept her as her wife,something she refused to be. So she left the country and realised she loves Edmund,she was trying to visit Edmund but his family were refusant,even his sister,who was in good terms with FL, the reason is quite simple,they didn't want her to hurt Edmund and put his life in danger, reminder, they still have the threat of the crown prince,if he ever knows they are together,both will be accused of treason,and at least Edmund will be killed, but FL didn't care because,self admitting she is selfish,she wanted to be with him because she loves him. She found Edmund but he refused to talk to her,he did and risk so much for her,he told her he already said it and it would be the last time he would say those words to her,but FL used sobbing and self pity to try to convince Edmund,it seemed to me like a pathetic way to guilty-tripping him,he refused and she decided to leave, waiting for Edmund. Her life was black without Edmund,she was missing something very important even though her life was "normal".Finally, Edmund appeared after 3 years. ------------------- • Joshua (mistress) Joshua (Samuel's mistress) is actually the illegitimate child of the Emperor. This reveal causes a bit stir. George ascended the throne after the previous Emperor died.
