OMG!!! IT'S SO GOOD, THAT WAS SUCH A SOLID READ, FINALLY ANOTHER STORY WITH ACTUAL DEPTH! And our mcs felt very human, theyre very much alive to me!! I love it when authors give characters realistic struggles and dilemmas, it gives them personality lol. And i also love how hiro handled kai's feelings for him. So they really are each other's lifeline huh goddamn hiro was so real for saying i dont care if u completely change the trajectory of my life all i kmow is that i want to be with you fck that was ROMANTIC LOL INDEED A PERFECT PROPOSAL, my heart was aching for Kai tho, imagine having so much love and kindness to give but still not find a place to belong. Like my dude never had something constant in his life so he just acvepst everythinh as normal, even the things that hurt, ugh that hurt me sm!!! And yeah i obviouslu have a lot of feelings about this story so i better stop here

i decided to reread this tonight... the age gap is STILL really uncomfortable and WRONG and he's a minor I WISH THAT WASNT A MAJOR PLOT POINT. BUT GOD THE STORYTELLING IS VERY IMPRESSIVE LMFAO IT'S SO MOVING IN EVERY WAY??? BOTH OF THEM ARE SO LIKEABLE AS CHARACTERS OUTSIDE OF THE RELATIONSHIP AND EVEN THE ROMANCE WAS COMPELLING! THEYRE FLAWED INDIVIDUALS BUT THEYRE NOT IREDEEMABLE. BUT UM ISNT THIS BORDERLINE GROOMING? IT CREEPED ME OUT WHEN TOGAME KEPT ON BRINGING UP SHIT LIKE I WANNA DO U BUT UR STILL A HS KID LIKE UGH PLS STOP LMFAO I SO WANNA FORGET THAT HE'S JUST 17, THIS STORY WOULDVE STILL WORKED EVEN IF HE'S NOT 17 I WONDER WHY THE AUTHOR MADE THAT DECISION. THATS WHY IM STILL SO TORN BETWEEN LOVING AND HATING THIS MANGA BUT YEAH THE WRITING IS SO EVOCATIVE AND DEEPLY MOVING WITHOUT COMING OFF AS PRETENTIOUS. GAAAAH YUKI IS SO PRETTY THATS MY PRINCESS!!!!!!!! anyway i loved the first few chapters, i just wish it was longer so we can see how their feelings developed for each other. cos the pacing was initially good then suddenly went too fast haha i loved how they were healing together and sharing their grief, but i also wanted to see more tension, pining, and feelings realization haha it's still a decent read tho, just got too dramatic and contrived in the end
