Okay, it was pretty good, but with problems.
First... the translations. OMG the translations were horrible. IT took a while to parse what they were supposed to say. I think they took a (bad) Spanish translation, then tried to translate THAT into English, losing SO much along the way. That alone would make me hesitate on the reread.
Second, I really think Uichirou got blamed for more than was his fault. True, it was his story, from his PoV and he did some wrong, but Makoto was at fault too, for not talking, not telling him ANYthing. Why is it entirely Uichirou's job to ask about Makoto? Why couldn't Makoto volunteer anything? Also, HE ran out without hearing Uichirou's reply. That's on him, frankly. Sure, Uichirou needed to work on some stuff, but omfg, he wasn't the only one at fault.
Lastly, and this may have been a translation issue, but I didn't understand the problem with their eyes meeting. He liked that at first, then... didn't? I didn't get the embarrassment with that. Made no sense and that really caused problems enjoying the story.
I love most of the work from this mangaka, but this one comes up short.
