Okay, this one was SO hard to read. I bawled. Keiichi had some really stupid moments. By this time, he should have understood Shingo more. He *knew* Shingo had abandonment issues. It's not going to get better right away. It take time for him to feel secure that things aren't going to end. Cancelling a date out of the blue (and at the last minute!), staying out all night with a guy who was just hanging all over you, then deciding ON YOUR OWN without a word to go halfway across the globe and not even asking him to go... yeah, he's going to be hurt, dumbass. (Still wanting to cry just writing this!)
Shingo has fears; it's understandable. His abandonment fears means he's NOT going to trust. He's GOING to be waiting for it to end, so no, he's NOT going to be entirely honest about his feelings and what he wants to say.
The ring part at the end was amazing and I was really glad to see them working it out long distance (even if I think it's fucking ridiculous that they stayed apart *eyeroll*). But at the same time, they were working at it and there didn't seem to be any more bullshit about not being honest and upfront about things.
(Also, Keiichi getting jealous over the kid. LOLOL)
All in all a good story, just really hard to read in places. REALLY hard to read in places. *wipes face again*
