Lover's Position
This one is *hard*. The first story (1-3.1) really fucks with me because of the stupidity of the seme not telling the uke was was going on. So pissed. The second one was better and more fun. I felt bad for the guy who got dumped (again!) and how hard it was for him, but I was glad to see he had someone love him in the end.
Ashita mo Tanin
I really liked this one. The conflict feels more real than just the "two guys" thing. Knowing that his Ryuusuke wanted a family lent a realism to the problems between them. I liked that it wasn't about how they'd be viewed by society and more about what the wanted from each other. Really enjoyed it.
Yume Yume okirukoto nakare
Cute but WAY too short childhood friends-to-lovers.
Kasa No Shita, Futari
Well, then. That was kinda hard to read and I started to tear up from it. I really DID NOT LIKE the "friend" Tachibana. He KNEW how much he was hurting Yugi and didn't seem to give a shit, easing his own conscience with "he knew what he was getting into." That doesn't make it right to hurt him, asshole. You need to go find someone who DOESN'T love you if you want to do that. Ugh. >.> Despite that, it was good, though and I liked it.
1/365 no Koibito
Well, then. 10 years to finally figure it out that they were in love (or, well, the one was actually in love with the other). It was good. I'd say it was a solid-enough ending, though I would have liked to see they commit in some way. I think Takashi was still too worried about it ending. Still they made a promise (like the other that was never broken) to do something again a year later, though I would have liked to see something more. Like a commitment to change cities for one of them or something.
Itsuka no Koi to Natsunohate
Good story. Tough in places because Ichika (the bottom) really was hurting. I so felt for him, struggling with his unrequited love and being stuck having to go through this over and over again, listening to his crush talk about girls and breaking up. Still, it was well done and I enjoyed it quite a bit.
Kono Hoshi de Ichiban Akarui Tokoro
Cute with the childhood friends (where one starts dating a another guy classmate) and the one left behind ends up with the teacher. Fun, neither too heavy nor too light. Sex is good (though tame). Overall good for a reread.
Uchi no Ani no Renai Jijou
Sweet but hard story with the "adopted" brothers. I'd have given it more, but I don't understand removing him from the family registry. That made no sense to me and like it was just a way to make him hurt their mom. Weird.
