The three stars is more like 2.5, they have a cute dynamic and the story progression is nice but it's again the fact that it seems the author would've liked to have an acc highschool boy paired with Haibara if it weren't illegal. I mean he looks like a highschoolet, Haibara calls him kid allll the time, and even assumed he was a minor when they first met. Yoshiyo also acts super innocent and needs to be taught sexual stuff, and there's even a minor story point of him talking with his father and maybe living with him?? Also lol they just straight up have him 'cosplay' as a highschooler in an extra.
Yea maybe the author has a thing for older man x younger, innocent guy, which there's nothing wrong with an age gap, it's just also presented in such a sus way
