So fucking stupid what a waste of time, the beginning makes it seem interesting but I got invested for no reason The Mc was interesting at first but becomes a doormat and boring real fast, the emperor is a piece of shit and explaining away everything he did with "bro it's their norms" is stupid, he doesn't even change into a better person he can just hide it in front of the Mc like wtf him trying to abort the child without Mc knowing was scary and downright disgusting Also I hate hatee when the child and a parent compete, which goes hand in hand with the trope of the emperor only caring abt the Mc and hating / harming others due to his obsession like what an immature asshole I read the whole thing out of sheer rage and cringe, omg the main couple is sooo cringey, it's like a soap opera but without the campy I just realized this is so booktok dark romance hshdhxhxhdj no wonder it pissed me tf off, it's not a genre I usually enjoy The 2 stars are for kaim and seokju fr they and the translator kept me sane

why do they keep going to america bro the names are killing me skdfnksjnd this is really cutee, the art is really pretty and the way the power system works is genuinely so interesting it's such a fun idea for him to have a library of experiences from his past fantasy lives. I do think the fact that he's essentially getting power ups because these abilities are from fantasy lives makes it feel a bit like cheating, and also the backstories are sometimes too long and not engaging enough for it to not get boring, so I often skim them. Like he's obviously training, but it feels like magic training not acting training, so it feels a bit flat compared to something like skip beat for example (but like it's SKIP BEAT, one of my favourite manga, so that's an unfair comparison). As a result, I'm not really rooting for him or anything, or on the edge of my seat, I'm just a passive observer to a shallow and soft story so yeah, it's a cute and light read, but not super engaging. Ahh but I found myself skimming entire chapters by around chapter 30 till the most recent update, everything really does come easy for him using his powers so it feels cheap. I'm aware of how the cheat skills genre works and they are interesting sometimes, but this isn't it. My rating went from 3 stars to 2 around chapter 30

Yooo it's that dragon one, I thought it got axed Rating is more like 2.5, I'm just not a fan of these cultivation isekai stories when it's all easy wins, there's no actual planning or failure and replanning and gritting your teeth and facing setbacks and can you tell I grew up on shounen lmao Its fun and the artist is rlly good, but like in an illustration way, the expressions always remain relatively neutral to preserve the beauty of the characters and are only really expressive in chibi form, which kind of dilutes the story and any scenes or emotions Also the relationship between the main two develops quickly, doesn't feel natural, tho I feel that for fan service sake, especially since I also suspect you can get an r-rated version of the story for smut since the cuts are awkward anytime it gets sexual rather than a proper fade to black So yeah that would explain both the focus on keeping the characters pretty and the jumping into the main duo's relationship, it's at its core a fanservice comic, but it's still an okay read THERE IT IS lmao they must be using the r-rated version for season 2, heh I'm always right
