Hella boring, all the characters felt kinda shallow, loose ends are left loose, it wasn't sad at all tf why did I brace myself. They had a rlly interesting concept going by tying a new minority of witches into the horrors of ww2 and dealing with the aftermath but it isn't explored properly. Fr what is this story even about Also the thing between Lulu and Camillo was gross I didn't like it, I hate when there's a romantic tone to a caregiver and child. It's not played off like a one-sided crush either camillo is kinda creepy I only rlly like Nicole and fanfan lol

So fucking stupid what a waste of time, the beginning makes it seem interesting but I got invested for no reason The Mc was interesting at first but becomes a doormat and boring real fast, the emperor is a piece of shit and explaining away everything he did with "bro it's their norms" is stupid, he doesn't even change into a better person he can just hide it in front of the Mc like wtf him trying to abort the child without Mc knowing was scary and downright disgusting Also I hate hatee when the child and a parent compete, which goes hand in hand with the trope of the emperor only caring abt the Mc and hating / harming others due to his obsession like what an immature asshole I read the whole thing out of sheer rage and cringe, omg the main couple is sooo cringey, it's like a soap opera but without the campy I just realized this is so booktok dark romance hshdhxhxhdj no wonder it pissed me tf off, it's not a genre I usually enjoy The 2 stars are for kaim and seokju fr they and the translator kept me sane

Hm. I really liked the beginning, I thought it was really interesting and I liked the way they got closer, and I liked the portrayal of heartbreak and how it can really affect you and linger, and I like Wataru. I really don't like Soma. Does he? Even like Wataru?? Up until the end he still feels half-assed and clinging to his love for his ex. The author tries to have him explicitly tell people "Oh no I want to stop being half-assed" and "Oh acc from this point I stopped being half-assed" but he doesn't show it at all?? Not through his actions or his behaviour. It's chalked up to just being part of his personality but honestly I'm completely with Wataru. I totally understand why he's insecure but it's just played off as him being jealous and money. Idk it's just uncomfortable, it was not the right time for them to date and if the author really wanted to make it go the 'realistic relationships aren't perfect' then they should've shown that instead of brushing it off and just making them smile and fuck at the end. Idk it's just uncomfortable. I do like Takeichi though, he's a good friend

It started off not great tbh, I was vibing until the first sex scene, and I am not a fan of the forced sex / fwb to lovers trope, especially ones that start with rape, which no matter how it's dressed up as 'yin snatching' doesn't change what it was. But I liked the art so I stuck with it and it's acc pretty interesting, their relationship outside the smut is acc rlly cute and gave me feels. I think it's super cute how the prince fell for his friend cause he unconsiously reminded him of the demon guy, that's acc rlly cute and fun. Honestly, this would be like way better without the smut lmaooo, if they took it out entirely, or like just reduced it, I'd enjoy the story much more because it and the plot are acc interesting. Honestly if they just did the kamisama kiss thing where they just had to kiss instead of have sex that woulda been waaaay better Actual rating is 3.5, but I put 4 stars because I love the brothers XD

This is so frickin funny omg lol Hart is my fav obvsly That aside the Mc is so fun and pretty, I rlly like her. Ceres is also rlly cute, the story made the typical beast and tamer dynamic refreshing All the characters are fun, I rlly like the third prince and his mother, it's nice to have a pretty and morally ambiguous female side character for once instead of an obvious villainess Spoiler alert! Though this is just a guess, but also it's like Hella obvious lmao, from the moment they revealed Ceres lost his memories I was like "this guy is definitely royalty" and it's practically confirmed when they hint at him having the royal jewel eyes which are a blatant rip-off of "who made me a princess" I hope he doesn't go blonde tho he'll look so weird lmaooo, maybe he just has sparkly black hair, the third son has his default colours of blonde hair and green eyes but like has a sparkly filter over it essentially. I assume it'll be the same for ceres, who prob looks like his mother who is probably that first empress that died So pretty predictable story, but still fun!

Iffy about this one cause it seems toxic but also I wanna try cause of the art lol Why do I do this to myself OKAY I GOT SPOILERS and yeah this is some toxic shit but I'm glad ik cause I can go into it this prepared I wasn't prepared This is brutal man, I'm tearing up. Kloff is fucking crazy goddamn, honestly I don't like him at all as a person. Ppl who get pressed over 'wearing a mask' or even his whole 'why smile, do u secretly like it is peak idiocy it reeks of self-righteousness and misogyny (even tho aeroc isn't a woman but still). Being regretful abt it doesn't mean anything he's sick in the head fr Yeah this fucker is abusive as hell, what a psycho. It's scarier cause he acts perfectly normal usually woww that's kinda realistic to irl serial killers. Yeah kloff is really gross, his mindset his behaviour, it's textbook manipulative and possessive and abusive, so the 'romance' feels icky Despite it all the story is interesting so I'll give it that, I do want to know what happens next even if literally every single character is shitty on some level except rapiel
