The second the ML shows up everything feels so forced. He's introduced late and suddenly all the other characters fade into the back. I did like the part about the FL and her brother, it was a nice change to see them have a good relationship for a change. The father is trash and I think the original heroine is going to either turn evil or she was sus all along. I don't care to see which. Dropped
The Precious Sister of The Villainous Grand Duke
For a transmigrator FL is terribly naive and gullible especially later on when dealing with the original FL from the book. She's supposedly an adult but she acts like a child. Her entire plan is to depend on ML to save her and that's...what happens. If I see someone tag this as strong fem protag I'm gonna puke lmao. The ML is your typical cold protagonist nothing new here but his behaviour changes around chap 40 but so abruptly it seems unnatural and weird. All in all it's not bad but it does get boring.
Everything was a Mistake
Chapter 16 explains why the ML acted the way he did and why it looked worse than it was. After that the entire misunderstanding feels so pointless. If he just told the FL what was really happening to him... then I guess the author wouldn't have a reason to drag it out. Aside from that the second ML pisses me off. Dropped
The Elegant Sea of Savagery
Basically the ML breaks off the relationship of the FL and her boyfriend. And I get it given his past etc that the ML would cling desperately to the first person who was kind to him but this shit is just sad. It would be a different case if the boyfriend was idk a cheater or smth, but he's a genuinely nice guy and the FL loves him.
