this was a beautiful and raw story and it made me cry. i actually love how tarou ended up with mishima. i’m honestly sad kirino decided (imo forced) to live for his mother instead of live his truth. i was rooting for him tremendously but i understand not everyone can come out. but i know had he chose to live his truth his bestie mishima would’ve been by his side.

Honestly Kuniharu’s story is soo much better Hinekure Sakura ni Koi ga Saku (imo). I feel like the mangaka just put everything that was lacking in Hinekure Sakura ni Koi ga in this story. There was an actual plot and character development. Also sex wasn’t the center of their relationship. Haru-chan & Ruka got to learn parts of each other that they wouldn’t want other people to know. I honestly would love to see another volume or one-shot about Kuniharu & Ruka’s life as a couple.
