NAUR THIS IS TOO GOOD I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS FOR AGES!! despite the rushed ending I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THISHECTOR AND LAI ESPECIALLY! i truly wasn't expecting such a perfect relationship in a royalty/historical drama bl. hector's selfless love and devotion for lai and the way he does everything within his abilities to protect lai despite feeling powerless all his life, lai becoming his motivation at a time when he felt lost and like he had nothing to do despite his capabilities, beautiful. when he said he wants to see lai happy even if it means lai would never remember him i kinda cried. even in the end, he didn't want lai to be alone and didn't want to leave him to go continue with his plan to usurp the throne, the plan he's been working on for all his life oh how i love them
