Form of Sympathy
This is definitely a very slowwwww burn, not much romance on season 1 and 2. God, I love and hate how realistic this manhwa is when it came to shitty people, especially the parents. The teacher was so easy to sympathise with, he had baggage LIKE BAGGAGE B A G G A G E, his depression, his burnout— it just hits you so hard because he's so miserable but he's still so kind and forgiving to others. Yuri was also really great, at first he was very shitty but as the story progresses you'll learn that he and his love is very complex. The cruel school system was realistically potrayed. Bullying in korea is really extreme, often times the bully doesn't even pay the price, I wish we had more teachers like the mc here. This manhwa was definitely very deep and had more to do with healing each other's wounds slowly rather than passionate romance and I'm completely onboard with that. If you think the teacher mc is being a whiny baby because he cries alot and is suffering through a severe depression idk what else to say to you but educate yourself more in the topics about mental health ig. Right now I can't really see myself loving the dynamic between the two mc's, it just makes me feel like they're friends with benefits(but instead of sex they comfort each other) but if that's what the aurhor intended todo before building up the romance, I applaud them for that. This was also very well written and the pacing is amazing.
Kowarerukurai Yasashiku Daite
This manga has all the tropes that I love omggg️️️
The Time When We Were Young
I'm really invested in this! This manhwa is a rollercoaster of emotions, it's so effective at making you laugh so much your cheeks hurt or you're sobbing your eyes out lmao. I love the mc and the plot is unique and doesn't take itself seriously. As a sucker of the romance genre in manhwas/mangas myself, (like- i eat that shit up) I'm not too immersed in the romance going on in the novel world, I am however interested on what the male lead will be like for the irl world for the mc, since we've been getting some little sneakpeeks in the latest chapters.
Your Smile Is A Trap
YA'LL THIS WAS SO WHOLESOME- It's the she fell first he fell harder trope for me omggg I absolutely adore the ml sm, the friends to lovers I eat that shit upppp, while it did tip me over the edge with all the misunderstandings it didn't get to the point where it was downright unreadable. I love the pacing and the interactions with how real and raw the emotions and feelings of the characters, this story is such a gem! Adorable characters and teeth rotting fluff, it's all you need to make yourself cheer up! I suggest people continue reading this on webtoon to support the creator ^^
Daikirai na Aisaretagari
Normally I can't stand playboy ukes but I actually really like his character. Rather than a playboy he's more of a prostitute since he gets money after having sex with his partners, it's clear he does this to relieve his past trauma. I like that his character doesn't get overly handsy with the seme and I'm glad he's the one who fell inlove first instead of the seme. I also love the seme's character for his patience and understanding towards the uke, like he's such a green flag. I rarely like this type of couple trope but I took a leap and read this because it was the same artist as "How I met my husband". I don't get how people hate the uke so much in the comments when he's so incredibly tame, it's clear he's a broken man that covers up his vulnerableness with jokes and smiles. Overall, this is a good casual read and I look forward to how this ends.
