I hear u and feel similar frustrations But I think author-nim has done this quite well so far showing through the seme about how u go about recognising and accepting deep trauma from someone close to u This is a rare webtoon (that I know of) that the sole pov is with the seme and the seme being the mc The vast majority out there is the pov of the uke with the trauma, so we instantly hear the voice their fears and anxiety and will get a few flashbacks for the semes "issues" But this is pure 1 protagonist and 1 pov who is learning and growing I see this as close to the real world as most webtoons as u never know what goes on in the life of ur school friend / workmate unless they voice it to u Thats why whenever i see the uke do something (or not do it) and groan, i actually fall more in love with this story So yeah, thats my 2cents worth

Small village has a tradition of 2 1st born sons of these families have a marriage ceremony and have sex once a year. 1 family is decended from the 9tail fox, the other is decended from the (male) bride family So this story is about the new generation 2 childhood friends who were secertly in love finally being able to be together Issues with but this is a duty, dont want to hold the other back just cos of this tradition Finally reveal they love each other and can be true lovers, not just for one night There is a chapter of their dads when they were the ones, they loved each other but they had to step back and get married to continue the line But they still loved each other even when it was their sons turn to take over. That chapter shook my heart Cute otherwise Last 2 chapters were average with the love rival The dad story made it a 5 star for me
