THIS IS SO CUTE. The fact that 'general' is always having to tell Red the directions and where to go, is just so cuteeeee!! I love that 'general' adores pandas and how his imagination goes when he thinks about pandas also when he finds stuff cute. But the way 'general' interacts with people especially the children. By the way in my opinion I think Blue x Pink is really cute.

I find the romance very accommodating with the story but there is one aspect I find interesting. The fact that Rentarou is forced to face the fact that he is just a mob and is practically just a person to fill the cracks of the story. Unlike most characters when put in a situation like Rentarou's (becoming aware of the fact they are a mob character) they often think that they should avoid flags, don't be involved with events and live their lives to the fullest or think about being happy and having a 'normal life' such as trying to find love. And only when he finally gets over it then he will be rewarded.
