Warrior's Afterlife
I WOULD HAVE EATEN THIS UP SO MUCH IF IT WAS LONGER. I LIVE FOR MOOBS
Lima Syndrome
Ok… a cliffhanger ending? I mean, I knew it was gonna be a fked up plot from the title but I didn’t expect it to end so abruptly. Really pretty art, but feel bad for the uke :( Not justice whatsoever for him even till the end.
Perfect Buddy
BAEK YOUNGCHAN IS A DREAM BOAT. To sum it up, it’s a very slowburn story of 2 colleagues. Art is amazing, storyline is great. The conflict is just enough that it doesn’t feel repetitive or too drawn out. I’m really just waiting for them to get together tbh at this point
Ink Painting
Feeling more confused than anything. Very rushed ending and no closure for anyone.
Taming the Tiger
Floored at how much I enjoyed reading this masterpiece from one of my favourite authors! Everything about the story was captivating - from the art to the conflict in the plot and up to the ending. Loved the side stories as well, gave just enough comfort to close the whole series.
Hyanghyeon Text
5/5 for art, characters and plot! Lee Jooin can read people’s thoughts until he meets Mookya, a gangster who he can’t read at all. Jooyul being in love with his own brother was kinda weird, not gonna lie but glad that Eugene came along in the future plot! Overall a good read but not great enough to class as a masterpiece.
Hogu Hagyeongsu
[SPOILER ALERT] So much unconsensual sex… and the plot doesn’t do anyone justice tbh. Like, what did the older brother actually want to achieve? And why was the sister so hell bent on keeping Kyungsoo with Yule? Also, wtf was up with Yule?! Does he actually have a mental problem or is he just an asshole?! So many unanswered questions the only redeeming part was that Kyungsoo didn’t end up with any of the characters (seemingly) because it ended with him meeting Yule again. And for what?! Honestly I just finished it because I was halfway done with it. It really didn’t add any sort of value to me as a reader.
INSECRET
This is so criminally underrated! It’s the first KPOP plot yaoi I’ve read and I love it so much! Of course, the amazing art just makes it even better. It’s a bit of a slowburn - which is realistic I believe because it’s not easy to come out as an idol. Would highly recommend this especially to kpop fans!
Black Mirror
What can I say? I enjoyed it! The plot was good enough to keep you hooked and I didn’t stop reading until I was done with it. It wasn’t that scary tbh nor was it super gory either though it had just enough to be classed as a horror. Good read that kept me intrigued but didn’t really emotionally move me - as in it didn’t induce any anxiety or fear or even any particularly strong emotion to be exact. 5 stars overall and can recommend, just doesn’t go into my masterpiece list.
