storyline: hwane and jinha meet in high school, where hwane develops feelings for jinha and finds out that jinha was actually just toying with him... fast forward a few years and they find each other again as hwane needs a suit and ends up in jinha’s tailor parlor! some interesting side characters like hwane’s high school bestie and his boss, as well as jinha’s ex reaction: yessss absolutely yes! they did however focus so much on what happened in he beginning, but the misunderstanding itself never really got addressed?? idk if there’ll be an epilogue or side stories but it’s not like it’s essential anyways... also the mvp’s in this are clearly the team leader (marry me monsieur) and ina <3

[YUMI x KAN SERIES] storyline: yumi is in an abusive relationship with his highschool boyfriend kannosuke, but his love from the past, mayama, shows up at his workplace and throws his whole world into a loop… yumi is forced to see how kind love can actually be, and stops waiting for a past that can never return, so he can finally allow himself a chance at a better presents reaction: damn kan was such a piece of shit, why did he beat up yumi in the first place?? i’m glad he decided to let yumi go before he did even more irreparable damage but this was heavy

storyline: woo yoochan is miserably lovesick and drunk at a club and ends up sleeping with choi namhyun, who turns out to be the younger brother of the sunbae yoochan is lovesick for!!!! having lived in his brother’s shadow his whole life, namhyun hides that information from yoochan, but as their relationship progresses, certain things can’t stay a secret anymore… reaction: yoochan is an actual angel okay he deserves to be happy and sihyun sunbae!!! what a man my lord he’s such a gentleman and a loving brother, im so glad namhyun got over his inferiority complex and relied more on his brother

storyline: kanade is reunited with his high school best friend and crush, mashiro, who claims to love him after so long. kanade is understandably distrusting but soon he sees the truth in mashiro’s feelings. sadly, mashiro’s relationship with his own mother takes a continuous toll on himself, and ultimately in his relationship with kanade. reaction: mannnn they’re so cute

storyline: myeong is a sickly kid who’s in love with class president, seonho. only years later, at a class reunion, does he realize that seonho might have feelings for him as well, waiting for myeong to open up to him. reaction: i watched the animation and it was hella short but very cute, the side chapters in this kinda threw me off tho

storyline: sakura is a gay man with stereotypical 'girly' interests. he used to look after yuusuke, who is now an employer in the company sakura hired to be set up with a woman and try to live a 'normal' life. needless to say that yuusuke ended up helping sakura redefine his notion of what is 'normal', and most importantly, what is 'happiness'. review: i love this story, it's so cute!! sakura truly just wants to be a princess, and there is no better prince than yuu <3 also hana is the loveliest sister ever. the way she has her brother's back and only wants his happiness... got me emotional ngl

storyline: trevor edwards is a lawyer who picks up a homeless young man named gene and gets him off the streets by offering him a job as a live-in housekeeper. gene is a former amish who chose not to return to his village, and instead wants to explore the world. trevor supports him, and loves him throughout the process. review: this is the loveliest thing i’ve read in such a long time omg the characters, the dynamics, the ART………… i love it so much

storyline: haejin and sunwoo are former highschool sweethearts who bonded over their love for writing and reading, but ended up breaking up on a bad note. now find each other again working for the same publishing company review: i think some plot points needed addressing and didn’t get the resolution we needed… did sunwoo tell haejin that he plagiarized his writing for the contest? when did sunwoo even read haejin’s writing before? i don’t think these were mentioned anywhere in the story and i believe these were key points in the narrative… a bit disappointing but not a bad story

storyline: yuuhi is a traumatized boy who became unable to see people's faces. suddenly, a man appears at the shop where he works, and for the first time since he was a child, he can see that person's face clearly. that's the day he meets itsuki, who promptly declares his love for yuuhi. review: pretty cute, happy to see that they explored how therapy would be able to help yuuhi

storyline: natsuo (nacchan) is a boring office worker who was confessed to in high school by his best friend, issei. six years later, they reunite, and issei is making a living as a famous dj and producer. these two very different ways of living clash and make nacchan especially self-conscious of their own existence. review: this was pretty cute and issei was the loveliest (and an inspiration ngl)
