reaction: each and every one of their backstories… my heart aches for these boys (especially yamanoi)… very cool story tho, some plot holes and the blatant sexualization of that one american female soldier was a bit too much, but i really liked the characters and the concept, and the art is GRUESOME :D

storyline: shavonne has an onion-obsessed murderer for a neighbour. llewellyn is way more than that though, and they go way back. review: i was so invested in this but i think it was mostly because i really wanted a happy ending for llewellyn. this was a tragedy fest tbh but the art was good and it had me hooked.

storyline: juri is a depressed and traumatized woman who has attempted suicide multiple times. the last time she does, her aunt (a nun) takes her to do some volunteering with a convict on death row. that’s how she meets yuu, a man who killed three people and mirrors juri’ depressive and suicidal tendencies. review: typing this with tears streaming down my face holy shit this was absolutely heartbreaking and it was one of the most beautiful stories i’ve read in a very long time… to think some people love and die without experiencing happiness, love, comfort… the world can be such a cruel place
