storyline: society is made up of humans and beast mutants called therians, who are humans that can shift into certain animals. dex is a human working in a human-therian crime division, where he meets sloane, his team leader who is also a jaguar therian. sloane and their team are still healing from the loss of sloane’s partner gabe, so dex needs to show them, sloane especially, that time and trust heal all wounds
