storyline: gayeon is an office worker who, for some unknown reason, gets sent into a past/alternate reality?? there she is taken in by a noble and sees the emperor, xeros, for the first time, vowing to seduce him soon. gayeon later becomes one of the emperor’s concubines, which allows her to become very close to him, and their relationship deepens with time. however, a conspiracy is underway to overtake the emperor, and gayeon needs to do her best to keep herself and xeros safe from the jealous empress and the greedy prime-minister reaction: great art, beautiful characters, i have the BIGGEST crush on xeros deadass and yre deserved moreeee (i love him)

storyline: ian is a ghost painter for the renowned bardi family, through whom he meets raymond, a rich merchant who commissions them his portrait… their lives take many turns, in which both of them are forced to realize what it is that drives them forward reaction: lord i was INVESTED in this one???? i felt the angst in my bones goddamn it bless nicholas and his endless patience for ian’s bullshit, lord knows i would have kicked his and raymond’s ass a long time ago

storyline: ryu doeun is the leader of a rebel team who’s targeting a man responsible for a political conflict. doeun’s plan is to approach the man’s son, seo janghan, in order to get to the man, but doeun doesn’t foresee catching feelings for this soft-spoken bookworm, who apparently wants nothing to do with his father… reaction: this was actually so cute?? i think it’s a historical storyline, since it mentions a conflict between japan and korea (which i’m not entirely familiar with), but i really liked it

storyline: trevor edwards is a lawyer who picks up a homeless young man named gene and gets him off the streets by offering him a job as a live-in housekeeper. gene is a former amish who chose not to return to his village, and instead wants to explore the world. trevor supports him, and loves him throughout the process. review: this is the loveliest thing i’ve read in such a long time omg the characters, the dynamics, the ART………… i love it so much

storyline: our main character wakes up inside eris miserian's body, the villainess in the book the mc is reading. she must find a way to return to her world, but the plot seems to ask her... to die. review: this was amazing!?? the art is incredible, the characters were well explored, and the focus on eris's mission as the key part of the narrative, unchanged and unfazed, is a welcome deviation from my initial assumption that this would be a story moved by romance. the fact that all of them were "cursed" in the end just makes it even more vindicating for the main character. also can god please send a man like anakhin my way PLEASE
