storyline: sakurai kazuaki, a 38yo office worker, meets minagawa youichi, an unapproachable 19yo orphan who studies art in college and owns a boarding house where he lives with his cousin and a friend. an age gap love story where both men find new sides of themselves as they slowly fall for and support each other through their hardships and insecurities. reaction: not a big fan of age gaps but this was fine. youichi is very good looking btw lmao

storyline: typical “student falls for teacher” with a timeskip into a future where said student *becomes* a teacher, and works alongside his love… some resistance at first, because of the age gap and the student’s gender, but eventually the teacher starts to reciprocate his feelings! reaction: honestly the teacher turned from “full hetero who’s apprehensive about this student’s crush on him” to “i also love him” way too drastically for me

storyline: shin jaehyun is a piano genius who’s been taken in by his professor, kang minwoo. technically they’re boyfriends, but kang minwoo doesn’t seem to give a shit about jaehyun. that is, until kang minwoo’s son, seojin, makes an appearance and steals jaehyun from his father’s toxic grasp. reaction: poor jaehyun, can’t believe kang minwoo fucked up his wrist and his life like that… i’m so glad seojin really loves him and shows him what love should be bc my heart aches for that boy

yet another teacher x student relationship where the student likes the teacher, the teacher gives in and starts dating them so the student will grow tired of them (which is PROBLEMATIC!! SIR!! you can’t do that!!!!!!) but THEN feelings ensue. of course, the teacher waits until the student graduates to actually lay their hands on them because he’s a gentleman

storyline: ahn yiyoung is a college student leading a team in the development of a game app. kim daehyung is the director of the company he’s pitching their game to. what starts off as a terrible business relationship ends up becoming a lovely bond between these two men. review: i love this so much omg daehyung truly flipped the switch and it was beautiful to watch

storyline: high school student and college student start a fwb situation after college guy gets dumped by his bf. that’s basically it. review: not bad but not excellent. it caught me by surprise, however, when sano said “i’m finally 16” like WOW. you’re YOUNG (this whole story is WRONG), but at this point i was already a bit invested so yea.
