Love for Sale
storyline: namwoo is a broke college student who catches the eye of si-eon, the ceo of a publishing company. a relationship blooms between them, but while namwoo dives headfirst into the feeling of love and his vulnerability, si-eon uses his money as a shield in order to keep namwoo happy without having to give himself away. slowly but surely, his walls are broken down… review: this was so good, the way the characters’ motives and thoughts reflect their upbringing, and the way it affects the relationship… amazing (and this was also the cutest freaking thing)
For you 99%
storyline: joon love his best friend, doha. he’s the light in joon’s life. a fake relationship to protect doha from his popularity turns reveals unexpected feelings from both sides. review: the extended chapters had a bit more spice to them but they fucked way too much when they should’ve been talking lmaooo anyways they’re very cute and i wish the best for them
Campus Secret Girlfriend ♡
storyline: junseob is a college student who tries to get everyone to like him with a cocky attitude but ends up being ridiculed behind his back. then someone asks him, if he’s so great, why doesn’t he have a girlfriend? and junseob panics and lies, saying he’s dating the campus goddess, seryeong. problem is, she hears about this, and ends up confronting him about it… but apparently both of them have a secret they can keep for each other review: seryeong is so damn attractive, especially when he’s being a perverted sadist LMAO
Love So Pure
storyline: season 1 shows jihyun, a college students working part-time bartender who’s a pleasure-seeker, and yohan, a classmate who’s jihyun’s physical type but a real pushover. jihyun tries his luck and they start a physical relationship since jihyun doesn’t believe he can date anyone. meanwhile yohan is falling head over heels for him but won’t push for more. angsty but resolved!! season 2?? my favorite: jihyun’s nerdy classmate, daeshik, discovers he’s gay with yohan’s brother, yosef, who’s a total gangster. THE CUTEST COUPLE AND DYNAMIC EVER. then our resident lesbian sohae, who starts off poorly but is along for the ride and loves the boys as much as us. review: i love how daeshik just never stopped wearing the rainbow-themed clothing. also yosef’s longer hair and stubble?? PLEASE bring them back!!
Red Candy
storyline: sihyeon, aka agent red candy, gets sent on a mission where he needs to approach the target, university professor kang hajun. he doesn’t expect to fall for him, though. review: the angst, the trying to protect each other, the plot twists and schemes… AGENT UNO…. god i would love to see more of this universe (pls give us uno’s story now )
The Deepest Confession
storyline: dohun’s high school best friend and unrequited crush, yejun, just got divorced. after not seeing or talking to him for years, yejun shows up at dohun’s place, drunk and crying, and kisses him. messed up feelings and late confessions ensue. review: uninteresting i guess, and the side stories showing yejun’s dependency and possessiveness really docked several points from this story for me.
Missing Love
storyline: lee geom is involved with gangsters and often works as a male prostitute, having been unwillingly roped into this world after his mother died. mercilessly abused, the only hope in his life was his dream of revenge, and the chance to return to his normal life beside his first love, his college best friend im wooyeon. review: not a 5 star story because i think many of the abuse scenes seemed unnecessarily drawn out and excessive, and the final resolution with wooyeon also felt lacking, but a great story nonetheless. i loved yeonseo as well, and their relationship in the friend group (WE COULD’VE HAD A THROUPLE!!!!!)
A Room Without Window
storyline: gitae wakes up in a stranger’s basement with his leg cut off. the stranger seems very interested in him, in an almost innocent way… it’s up to gitae to understand how the hell he ended up there, and who that man is review: the plot twist?? the dynamic between gitae and jihoon??? loved it (only felt a bit weird about jihoon’s mental age overall)
Yamada To Shounen
storyline: yamada (26) finds a highschool boy, chihiro, lying drunk and asleep in a park at night, and decides to take him home so he can sober up. chihiro becomes attached, and unexpected feelings happen review: age gap with barely legal guys (or even minors, in this case it wasn’t specified) is always a bit icky for me
