One Take
storyline: young actor jang seungmin was involved in a scandal a few years back, and is casted for a new series, co-starring with his celebrity crush, ha hyunjae. turns out there’s more to the scandal itself than the rumors led to believe, and hyunjae is a bit more involved in all of it than he lets on. reaction: what a fucking ride !! i lost my shit at “i’m not gay” “are u sure” “i think so” “think again” *kiss* “how was it?” “amazing” LMAO PLEASE also the way they were dtf and seungmin just said “let’s exchange phone numbers first” i love him i can’t stop laughing skdjdks okay overall very intriguing, not sure about the ending but i think it was well executed and left room for imagination. i liked it and the art is soooo good i saved like 20 pinterest posts
Love on My Terms
storyline: sung chamin is an actor who reads people’s thoughts, until he has to work with han mogyum, whose thoughts he’s incapable of hearing... they have to work together on a BL movie, so chamin suggests they live together to improve their dynamic and chemistry (and hopefully understand why mogyum escapes his ability) reaction: 4 stars because it’s good but the character dynamics weren’t the best for me... JOONYOUNG DESERVED BETTER !!!!!!!!!! also i did like how they mentioned the possibility of pedophilia as an illness and not inherently a crime... but yeah i’m still so pissed that seungho ended up with ****** instead of *********................ but the main characters are so cute i love them so much, mogyum and chamin ftw
Starlight Scandal
storyline: ha eunseong and seo woojoo (aka leo from the idol group ‘noble’) enter a contractual relationship to appease their fans and boost both of their careers… turns out they end up growing really fond of each other, even apart from their contractual obligations… bonus points for cute side relationships uwu reaction: slow-paced (30 chapters for a kiss and still it led to a misunderstanding lmao) but it was so cute!!!! just the right amount of tension (stalkers, sasaengs, family drama) to keep it from being boring, but so much lovey-dovey stuff to keep us fed!!! i just want my boys to be happy (and yes that include doah and hyunoh)
Scandalous M
storyline: top actor han chanbit sleeps around while his manager and high school friend, suh baekyung, pines for him. then a third player enters the game: chanbit’s ex, do youngha, who abandoned him, is taking over chanbit’s agency, and is now blackmailing him with sex videos of them into making chanbit his plaything again. while trying to escape youngha’s schemes, chanbit realized just how much baekyung means to him, and finally understand what love truly looks like. reaction: they are so cute omg also i know youngha needs therapy but to hell if that means i’ll ever forgive him for the shit he pulled!!!! he can rot in hell for all i care, my poor baby chanbit
Love or Hate(Yeongha)
storyline: writer lee haesoo and actor choi joowon are former stepbrothers (their parents were together for a while) and are currently in an emotionally fucked up physical relationship… haesoo quietly suffers over his feelings for joowon, but the former seems to take their relationship for granted. that is, until a new player, photographer song taekyung, threatens his hold over haesoo’s heart. reaction: why do i always root for the non-endgame ships i constantly set myself up for heartbreak like that taekyung deserved better but as long as haesoo is happy………
Wait, I Love You
storyline: haruto is a hairdresser who’s secretly dating a super popular actor, aoi. haruto is then hired to work on a movie where aoi is starting, and they have to keep their relationship a secret while being so close to one another reaction: this was so lovely, i’m happy to read a story where two people are so in love with each other from the get-go and see how their dynamic is in an already established relationship
Limited Run
storyline: yeon-oh is a rookie actor who has to provide for his family as his dad is a serial gambler and keeps getting them in trouble with loan sharks. jae-hyuk is a rich man who decides to sponsor him, but has his own agenda that involves yeon-ho’s cooperation. too bad yeon-ho’s heart doesn’t follow the “no strings attached” rule. review: great angst, 7/10 redemption arc from jae-hyuk (although it seemed to be spawned a bit from nowhere), but the ending was too abrupt and unsatisfying. such a long story should’ve had a more appropriate conclusion imo.
Again
storyline: han nokyoung is a young actor who is way too full of himself because of his good looks, and lives his life not caring for others or respecting anyone. he suffers an acid attack from a hater and becomes disfigured, leading him to kill himself. however, a miracle happens that allows him to go back to the last, giving him a shot at a life he can be proud of and live to its fullest. in this life, he builds a relationship with kang junil, the ceo of an entertainment company who makes nokyoung work for his heart. review: this was very cool, long ass story and many side plots but i really enjoyed it… also the art is amazing (i saved so many images for pinterest omg)
