storyline: in a vampire-dominated society, human blood is the currency and humans are treated like livestock or work in low-rank jobs. "one" is a banker at a blood bank under the overlord family, and when he happens to meet the blood lord's son, shell overlord, one finds out that shell has some peculiar tastes he'd like to explore with him. while discovering a power dynamic that confuses but fits them both, one and shell realize they're in the midst of a plot that will wage war between humans and vampires, and ultimately destroy society as they know it reaction: the power dynamics in this are honestly so well executed imo?? the way shell submits in his self-hatred and one explores his deep resentment and unhealed trauma....... i love how their relationship progressed, and the plot surrounding them was pretty interesting too

storyline: jesse brown loses his memories and wakes up in a setting where everything is extremely confusing, visions and reality overlapping dangerously. all he knows is that a man named law chester claims to be his lover, but jesse can’t seem to trust him at all… way too many questions plague him and nothing seems to quite add up in the simple way law paints it all… honestly a ride from start to finish reaction: this is still one of the best thriller/psychological stories i’ve read on this app. the amount of plot twists, foreshadowing and details really make this story for me. no spoilers, but tbh i feel so sorry for law.

storyline: pickpocket jimmy gets caught by former cop reese, who makes jimmy work at his library to “pay for his crimes”. there, jimmy falls for reese, and decides to seduce him. review: great dynamic, love the age gap even though it’s not really my thing in general
