Kasa No Shita, Futari
On a rainy afternoon, Mio is caught borrowing an umbrella hanging on a doorknob and befriends Yugi, an alluring but standoffish college student that Mio comes to love. But Yugi is hung up on love for his friend Tachibana, who has been his partner for four years, with the understanding that after college, he'll go home to marry his girlfriend. Mio begs for Yugi's attention but is rejected. Four years later, they're reunited through work. Mio wonders if this is his second chance but discovers that Yugi is still being strung along by Tachibana. When Kawachi discovers that the senpai he's admired since middle school isn't as kind and considerate as he thought, he panics and blackmails him with sex - and has to live with the guilt. To atone, he apologizes and acts the part of doting boyfriend, walking senpai to and from school, carrying his bag, taking him out for pancakes. And while senpai is confused by Kawachi's sudden chivalrous behavior, he accepts it and the feelings that come with it. Features my favorite moment: "I AM his boyfriend."
Ore To Joushi No Kakushikoto
A selfish boss and his subordinate end up in a hotel because the trains have stopped running. The boss, too drunk to recognize his coworker, comes onto him and asks his subordinate to film the encounter, giving him the perfect weapon for revenge. Only the more they get to really properly know one another, little by little, their relationship begins to change. I almost skipped this and am so happy I didn't. This was a fantastic love story, well paced and believable. I agree with other commenters who said this has the best confession scene they've ever read!
