Two stories: teachers who date and one has a scent fetish, and neighbors who have been friends since childhood. One visited the other often because he was too sick to go out. Now that he's relatively healthy, he works full-time while the other is still in high school. Because they'd known each other for so many years, the age gap didn't bug me too much, but I think it was probably 16 - 21-ish? Maybe older?

This author wanted to draw demon x human porn and has a thing for teacher x student. If you don't care about relationship or character development, world building, or an actual story, this might be one for you. The premise - a disgraced teacher flees to a remote school that is home to supernatural students and is marked by one on arrival - is great. But sadly it's a superficial story so not one I will reread. Oct 2023: raised this by one star because it is by remnant’s author, I did appreciate how much self-loathing the demon had, and how excepting the partner was of his true form.

But when they come of age and are sold to customers, their forbidden relationship turns bitter. Ten years later, they vie for the spot of top courtesan and hide their feelings behind pettiness, until a string of suspicious crimes leads Kichou to discover his true identity, and Kagerou has to prepare to give him up entirely. This is beautiful but has the potential to be extremely upsetting. I read it almost a day ago and haven't been able to get it out of my head. Very happy ending in spite of everything that happens!
