Nayamuhodo Nara Koi To Yobe!
A man meets a junior high student at the laundromat in the rain and ends up tutoring him. And in a relationship.
Ano Kado Wo Magatta Tokoro
Two people who meet by chance at a streetcorner one night fall into a casual relationship, but when one takes a job student teaching, he realizes his partner - who had claimed to be a 19 year-old college student - is actually a 16 year-old in his second year of high school. **Spoilers** This is an interesting story with a solid relationship, but I wish Kaga had better explained to Yuuya why, legally, continuing their relationship once he'd found out Yuuya's age was a bad idea. Say what you will about Yuuya's maturity level and ability to consent in this scenario - the school is right that legally, he's a minor. It wouldn't have been the same story without that drama built in, but if they were both willing to wait until after graduation, they could've done that from the start without the forced separation. Still a challenging situation to consider and a story I've happily re-read.
Koi Ni Nare!
A student struggling with his sexuality it set up by a friend with someone who turns out to be his dorm supervisor and teacher. *Spoilers* I appreciate this story because the issue of the teacher/student relationship is discussed, and both people wait until that is no longer their relationship to take their personal relationship further. I think the student is underage, but he lives in the dorms, so I'm not sure. In America, we're usually 18 when we go away to college. This story has a spin-off about the roommate!
Hitorijime My Hero
I read this because I watched the anime. This is fine, but I wish the relationships were more fleshed out, and the age gap between them seems wider. Kousuke is hotter in the anime by miles but Masahiro somehow looks exactly the same. Kousuke also lacks the charm he had in the anime. Maybe it was his voice actor. The bartender, whom I call Sebastian for very important reasons, is going to cause some drama, which I'm looking forward to.
Nee, Sensei
A student is in love with his teacher, who had dated his older sister years before. The final chapter is a quick oneshot, childhood friends reunited as adults when one has become a police officer.
Irony Dress ni Sayonara
This was one of the most refreshing stories I've come across. It deals with a real love story, people who are openly gay, no self hate, figuring out a relationship while one partner is underage, and dealing with a parent who tries to understand but is misguided. Loved it.
Trap (OOTSUKI Miu)
Five years after a sensei blackmails a student into sleeping with him in exchange for silence about cigarettes, they meet at a reunion, and it turns out the sensei hadn't been in control as he'd believed.
Ashita No Kimi Wa Koko Ni Inai
Mio is in love with his Japanese history teacher, but his teacher insists his feelings will fade once he goes off to college.
Okurete Kita Renjou
First story: a high school student crushes on a guy and follows him to a gay bar. The guy will sleep with anyone and has never been in love, so they navigate the pitfalls of a new relationship. A sweet story, although not very well developed. The second story is completely skippable: tsundere to the extreme plus noncon that's handwaved because there was no penetration and a pervy teacher. No thanks.
