Mede Shireru Yoru No Junjou
When his family's business goes under, young Kagerou is sold to a brothel in the red light district. He befriends another boy and fellow worker, Kichou, and they vow to one day leave the district together. But when they come of age and are sold to customers, their forbidden relationship turns bitter. Ten years later, they vie for the spot of top courtesan and hide their feelings behind pettiness, until a string of suspicious crimes leads Kichou to discover his true identity, and Kagerou has to prepare to give him up entirely. This is beautiful but has the potential to be extremely upsetting. I read it almost a day ago and haven't been able to get it out of my head. Very happy ending in spite of everything that happens!
Rakuen No Ori
A hot guy with long hair who works for an organization beating people up, I think, ends up in a bizarre relationship with the younger brother of a yakuza boss who can only see from one eye. He likes to choke the long-haired guy during sex, which is freaky at first and then turns into a kink. Super unhealthy relationship involving dubcon and drugging people, but they seem pretty happy about things by the end. I've read chapter 4 before: "Unknown Letters," the yakuza and detective who had been in love in high school and now sleep together in an information exchange. It was sad the second time too. The final story I've also read, which was a 36yo who took in a 15yo after his family died, and then feelings develop. He vows to wait until the kid's 20. It's a little...hm.
Suki Na Hito Hodo
This looks like Harada, and it is marked as Harada, so I believe she drew it. But this is nothing like her usual work. The first couple of chapters feature a senpai who bullies his incompetent junior, going so far as to date him in some sort of effort to get him to improve at work. That felt like her. Unfortunately, the bulk of the plot is driven by a meddling woman coworker I wanted to slap. She was so juvenile it was absurd, constantly interfering with their relationship and on friendly terms with a cross dressing manager from another company who had raped the senpai. She goes so far as to invite him on their company trip to test the relationship for her own amusement. I feel like this might've been an earlier work or maybe something Harada was asked to draw, because it just didn’t have her usual sharpness. And to end it on such a saccharine note... I have read much worse. I wouldn’t really bat an eye at this except that it was marked as hers, and she writes loads better stuff. It has one thing going for it, which is team switch. I didn’t expect that and it was a nice change. if you were considering reading this and have not read her other stuff, please skip this one. Read Momo or よると朝の歌. Although this is marked as incomplete, I think all it is missing is a bonus chapter. The main story is finished.
Kawaii Obaka-kun
Desperately in need of money, a kid turns to prostitution and sleeps with a scruffy guy who turns out to be the hot director of the company. They cohabitate before the kid ends up in an accident, and then they have some stupid communication issues but everything ends up fine. A student finds out that the class president is gay and is taken by him to a hotel where he watches him have sex with someone else. Afterwards, the class president tries to give him a portion of the money he earned, but the student turns it away and runs off. The story is never resolved. The love story of a student and of the son of a yakuza family.
Bouai Friendship
Surprisingly sweet with character development and a happy ending! Yuzuru is known as the ghost senpai because he never speaks to anyone. When he drops his pencil case, it's picked up by Kyoya, a popular and arrogant junior who coerces Yuzuru into a sex-friends relationship. What begins as coercion becomes genuine, but as Kyoya is beginning to open up to him, Yuzuru makes his own friends for the first time and is approaching his graduation. Explicit; I scrolled past those parts. This would've been just as effective without it. The twist: Kyoya used to move a lot as a child and lost the friends he made quickly. When new friends turned on him at a previous school, he resolved to put on fake airs and never let anyone close to him. He'd noticed Yuzuru, who reminded him of his past self and made him realize he'd become the type of person he despised. He hadn't intended their relationship to last, but hadn't ended things because Yuzuru kept coming to him.
Batsu Game (Conro)
Two boys fall in love as the end result of a punishment game. I didn't think I'd like this, but it was super satisfying.

A multi-generational story of a family cursed to use a power that causes them physical harm, and the paper dolls - kami - who take on their pain. In good yaoi fashion, that means having a lot of sex. Also the puppets are made from human remains (for future generations, the remains of their own family.) Isn't yaoi fun. Among the stories, there were three I liked best: Genma and Himi (beware dub and noncon in their early days), Waki and Magane (because of the emotional challenge of being in love with someone who is bound to someone else), and Shoui and Asari. Theirs was, hands down, the best of the stories. The twins are awful. I skipped them on re-read. ETA: Considering I can't get this out of my head, adding it to the top 100 list. 4/25/20 - Still think about this a lot. Added a star. Skipped the twins again. They serve zero purpose and ruin so many poignant moments.
