Boulange no Koibito
A patissier who returns home to run his late father's bakery falls for a novelist who frequently buys his sweet breads. This is fluffy romance with no heartache.
Daiji na Koto na no de, Nido.
The first story was my favorite: a man is dumped when he proposes to his girlfriend and goes to his best friend's house to complain. He's a little surprised when his friend says he's happy she didn't accept. GUESS WHAT, he's got a crush on him. Anyway, they get together and have a couple lil epilogue bits later on. The rest are...I forget. They're all very nice but they don't really stay with you.
Akai Ito No Shikkou Yuuyo
Kei has been able to see the red string of fate since childhood, but his has never connected to another person until now, and he's shocked to find his destined love is another man.
Cherry Blossoms After Winter
After Haebom has spent his childhood believing he was hated by the boy who had been his closest friend, Taesung, they end up in the same class. Taesung - who has avoided him for years - begins to come to his rescue from bullies, sit with him in the lunch room, and walk with him to and from school. Slowly, they patch up their fractured friendship and realize they're in love with each other, find an apartment, and go away to college. But then a horrible stalker appears and messes things up for a few chapters. He's toast now, so I hope we get a bit more romance now.
Mousouka, Koi o Suru.
Five stars for the first story, a gentle and sweet love story between classmates. A popular boy happens to see a gay love story on a classmate's phone and becomes curious about him. I skipped the middle chapters. Chapter five is an unrequited love that ends with a hug as the final request between friends who will part forever following a rejection. The final scene is another tiny glimpse at the first couple.
Soshite Bokura wa Koi o Suru
