Ruri is deeply self-conscious about his stutter to the point where he avoids conversation and works night shifts as a janitor. When he picks up a dropped flash drive, he's forced to speak to its owner, Takashina, who struggles with communication in a different way - he's seen as cold (and often is). He's surprised when Ruri refuses his thanks and runs away, but finds him a while later in the rain and offers him shelter.
This story doesn't romanticize stuttering, nor does it paint Takashina as the person who will "save" Ruri from his stutter. In fact, Takashina gets it all wrong on page. Ruri calls him out, as does a coworker. He educates himself and apologizes. I really enjoyed this.
