Himono, Tokodoki, Shanairen'ai
A hot young guy at the office falls for his capable, attractive boss...who is actually sloppy at home and lives with his beloved cat. Once he gets through his boss's cool exterior, things seem like smooth sailing...until the ex boyfriend comes into the picture. The one with baseball ticket stubs.
Rush! (HASHIMOTO Aoi)
Members of an idol group fall in love.
Kitaru Harekake no Ashita yo
A man whose business is fixing things no one else wants picks up a teenage boy. Years later, they're still coworkers and encounter the person that threw the boy away. I usually don't care about stuff like this but I was so happy the pretty one topped. (Or, will. They don't do that on page.) There's a bit of weirdness in the middle. I hope they called the police on that person honestly??
Gelateria Supernova
Every week, Satoya meets up with an older man he knows only as 'Kio' whom he met through a dating app. They eat gelato and have sex, but Kio never stays the night and they know nothing about each other. Six months in, they begin to eat together and talk more, and the sex becomes more intense. Kio stays over - heralding a change in their relationship - but then he disappears, and Satoya has no way to contact him. He never even knew his name. Will Kio come back into his life? Of course, this is BL manga. There's a happy ending. This is sweet and I understand the sequel is available on Renta. I'm going to check it out. My only advice for the couple would be...just talk about things openly. Radio silence isn't helpful. September 2020 ETA: The sequel was added! Naoki is now 30+! The new chapters are another volume of domestic bliss.
Oku made Furetemo Ii desu ka
The carefree president’s son who is looked down upon by his older brother and father falls for a quiet new employee.
Nikushoku no Buka
A subordinate who will do anything for a contract and his chief fall in love when the chief reveals he is gay. But their relationship is tested when the subordinate receives a transfer request for New York. I liked the pacing and how much they genuinely liked each other.
Ai ga Matteru
A failed salaryman with a tendency to run from his problems hooks up with a serial playboy, and they change each other's lives. Giving this a fifth star on re-read for the character development and how damned hard they fall in love.
