An older writer ends up living with the man who was supposed to be his son-in-law when his daughter backs out of her wedding. (Spoilers) I was delighted that the daughter's reason for walking out was that she was in a relationship with another woman, and that she didn't want her father left alone after she left to live with her. I found all of the characters likable. A soft and sweet romance perfect for bedtime. I would like to know what happens to the neighbor!

A gently told, beautiful collection of three love stories: 1) An established relationship between a secretary and his adoring boss. (Temp MCD; dream sequence) 2) Childhood friends reunite, and through photography, realize their feelings are mutual. 3) In the aftermath of a major error, a boss and subordinate find common ground in their shared loneliness and begin a relationship that is supportive and tender; their love was so immediate and sincere, it gave me butterflies.

After Ryou glimpses his new male neighbors kissing, he acknowledges his confusion about his own sexuality and his attraction to Makoto, the dark-haired model who lives across from him. This is a story about self discovery, heartbreak, and the complexities of human relationships. It probably won't satisfy anyone looking for a straight-up love story. There is love in this, but as is true with love, it's complicated.

Came for the geology, stayed for the hilaridrama and love triangle. Five years after an accident that took the love of his life, Kousaka, Misaki returns to the mountain where he lost him as part of a geological expedition - only to find a lookalike among the team members. There was a sad lack of geology in this, but...LOL.
