Koi wa Koi o Shiru
When his married lover (and boss) begins to pull away from him, a man has to reevaluate their affair - and things are complicated when a coworker comes to stay with him.
Hito Wa Naze Hataraka Nakerebanaranai No Ka
Four stars for stories 2 & 3. Story 2 is a Sheith AU where Keith has chased after Shiro from college to the company where they both work, content to be the closest man in his life, until he discovers that Shiro is gay and dating a blackmailing little twink. Their names weren't actually Keith and Shiro but I couldn't think of anyone else. Anyway, that ends up fine. Story three is about two men who form a long-distance relationship by phone when one is transferred to the company's Brazil branch.
Mujaki na Wanko to Nekokaburi
I AM CLEANSED! Naohito, single and pushing 40, is forced to attend a mixer where he meets Tohru, who is friendly, young, and speaks his mind - sometimes a little too much for Naohito, whose obsession with maintaining a perfect public image has cost him all but one relationship. When Tohru suggests being friends, Naohito sidesteps it, assuming they'll never meet again. But Tohru turns out to be an employee of an important client, so when his apartment burns down and he begs for a place to stay, Naohito reluctantly takes him in. This is about being honest with people you're close to and opening yourself up to new possibilities.
Fruit, Gateau au Chocolat
Two businessmen fall in love over food in this gentle romance.
Tsujimura-san Is A Secret
An office worker becomes fascinated with a coworker who is rumored to be gay, and saves him from an assault. This is pre-relationship.
Koi wo Suru Tsumori wa Nakatta
Yoshino celebrates his 30th birthday by visiting a gay bar for the first time, and gives his first time to Rou, an attractive younger guy who is flirty but not serious about him. They put each other through the lack-of-communication roller coaster and end up together, with the promise of (I presume) a ring in the box Rou brought home.
Gyangu no Kai-kata
A foreigner out of time ends up in modern-day Japan and takes up with an office worker. Everyone was pretty but I didn’t feel drawn into the relationship.
