I like this author. The characters have agency and there's nothing cringe-worthy. Good emotions.

1) A man who is incapable of caring for himself finds himself one evening with a devoted bride - who turns out to be his male boss. 2) On the whim of his grandfather, a man marries another man named Aoi, whose grandmother was friends with his grandfather. They'd always planned for their families to be joined. But after the grandmother passes, the men stay together, to the chagrin of the young man's mother, who goes out of her way to make Aoi leave. I don't know why we can't call everyone husbands but okay. These were cute. :-D

Two men tired of the dating game attend a gay mixer with the goal of marriage.

Sequel to "Memory of the Future," which I read second because I didn't realize. Two teachers in an established relationship deal with family pressure and charge into the future together.

It ends in suicide. HOWEVER! They show up reincarnated at the end of the final chapter. (Has TYL vibes -- talk of expulsion etc.)
