The Kokoro universe. The young man rescued from being beat up in the story about cherry tomatoes falls for the manager who took care of him. This is set two years later. Also features a great cameo of the guys from that story!

Three years after they broke up, two men re-encounter one other in a bar. They'd been in love but sexually incompatible, and while one is desperate to reconcile, the other thinks he's moved on. From the "Kokoro" universe, where they have a cameo in the same bar. (I like their story a hundredfold more.)

This is a pleasant series of pleasant moments between two people who genuinely like each other. Not much happens in the way of conflict, but the couple shows mutual interest, communicates honestly, and has a happy ending. I see why so many people enjoy this story. I liked it better the second time through.
