*insert 1,000 rolling eyes emojis* I wanted to love this. Childhood friends, an alpha and beta, find themselves as mates-to-be and roommates when the beta goes into a late heat. Unfortunately, this relied on communication issues to carry the story across five frustrating chapters. Pretty art, though.

He uses their drunken evenings to explore his confused feelings for Camilo. Though Teo loves him, he's frightened by the idea of having sex while simultaneously afraid to give him up. The art in this is gorgeous, the relationship mature, the friends supportive and friendly. Marking this dubcon since Teo is asleep when they start at many points, though it was vaguely agreed on each time in advance.

A plain boy with glasses is the target of his attractive best friend's attentions, but is concerned he's not good looking enough for him. A cold boy constantly makes passes at the boy who sits behind him, Kuraki, who doesn't know whether to believe the things he says. When it seems domestic abuse might be a problem at home, Kuraki invites him home. This was the sweeter of the two. I would've loved ten more chapters about them! Features the baby that keeps sleeping with them.

A descendant in a revered line of deer is in love with a human who has served his family since childhood. This is a little confusing at times, and the MC is a tsundere to the nth degree, but it has sweet moments. Head's up for a guy coming onto his adopted brother.

This leads to a wishy-washy relationship because of insecurities, but things work out in the end! I wish the author had spent more time on the "substitute for a girlfriend" portion so we could see the emotions build a little bit more before the "omg, i'm in love!" realization, but this was nice. ETA December 2021: I didn’t have any trouble with the timing of relationship revelations this time. This was really sweet. I probably read it too quickly the first time.
