A story about two brothers. The first half is about the younger brother, who falls for a classmate fated to appear attractive to everyone who sees him unless he's wearing glasses. The second half is about his older brother's love story with a classmate he used to bully. I found myself much more drawn to their story, probably because of my age - the brother and I are both in our 30s. :-P

Endou left middle school when his crush on a classmate made him a target of bullies. A year later, he begins work in his uncle's convenience store, where he meets Kouhei, a fellow 16-year-old who quickly goes from intimidating co-worker to close friend after they rescue a kitten. Rather than risk his only remaining friendship, Endou remains closeted about his past and sexuality, but his newfound stability seems on the verge of collapse when his former schoolmates discover where he works, and Endou comes face to face with the boy he had once loved. This story largely deals with bullying and its long-term emotional fallout; the romance is secondary to Endou's own healing and self acceptance. Above all, it is their friendship and Kouhei's insistence that there's nothing wrong with Endou or his past feelings that are the heart of this story.

A man becomes obsessed with a former classmate he used to bully and stalks him for two years. Not a relationship you should emulate, but it makes for great fiction.

After enduring relentless bullying by the same person throughout highschool, a literature professor is horrified to find the man is his new neighbor - and co-worker. But things aren't quite how they'd seemed. Note: While there is bullying in this, it's not done out of cruelty per se. The two had actually known each other when they were younger, and only one recognized the other when they met again. He fell in love and was aggressively affectionate.

After he accidentally sleeps with the company president's son's wife, a man is rejected from his project team and his apartment, but he's offered a job as the son's live-in servant.

A man is cruelly dumped by his lover who moves out while he's on vacation. He learns to trust again when he befriends his new roommate. Childhood friends who have pretended to date since childhood to spare one from bullying because of his sexuality. I almost cried.

During a night of shared sex with groupies, Asa ends up having sex with his band mate Yoru by mistake. Yoru, who has loved him for years, is happy about it and continues to allow Asa to use him for sex, even though Asa is cruel and degrades him. But after Asa harms a fan, he's brutally assaulted and raped, and it changes the way he views Yoru, who takes care of him in the aftermath of his trauma. This is fantastic but contains a brutal and upsetting rape scene that is explicitly depicted and frightening. This is like cotton candy fluffy by Harada standards.

Years after the head trauma that caused him to lose part of his memory, Ryouta is still being cared for by his childhood friend Acchan, who keeps having dreams about him. The final chapter is more about Sora, who bullied Ryouta out of jealousy. I’d love a story about him.

A lonely boy who hides behind the mask of a delinquent befriends the school janitor, a man who keeps to himself after being betrayed by someone he'd considered a friend.
