A hot guy with long hair who works for an organization beating people up, I think, ends up in a bizarre relationship with the younger brother of a yakuza boss who can only see from one eye. He likes to choke the long-haired guy during sex, which is freaky at first and then turns into a kink. Super unhealthy relationship involving dubcon and drugging people, but they seem pretty happy about things by the end. I've read chapter 4 before: "Unknown Letters," the yakuza and detective who had been in love in high school and now sleep together in an information exchange. It was sad the second time too. The final story I've also read, which was a 36yo who took in a 15yo after his family died, and then feelings develop. He vows to wait until the kid's 20. It's a little...hm.

A conceited host is cut by a customer and has to live with his scars. Luckily, the bodyguard from the club likes him anyway. A host and the guy who hazed him reunite a few years later and realize that, in spite of the bad beginning, they're a good fit. A 40yo divorced man falls for his young housekeeper.

Hana, a naive BL fanatic, moves to Tokyo with his hopes set on finding a boyfriend and living a perfect manga life. He meets a great guy but soon comes to realize that reality is often nothing like fantasy. Laugh-out-loud funny and embarrassing.

When a widowed chief brings home his beautiful male coworker, Takeyoshi prepares himself to find that his dad has fallen for a man...only to fall himself. But the coworker's personality doesn't match his face.

With his older brother's restaurant in peril because of few customers, a student uses his nights to sew costumes for a bunch of hosts who have agreed to work as cosplay waiters without pay in exchange for room and board. One of the hosts hits on the student and they have a lukewarm relationship. I agree with the other commenters: I would've rather read about the older brother and the other host.

Asou Mitsuaki has climbed to my top of favorite authors. This is the person behind "Only You, Only" and "Season." I think this might be an earlier work, a collection of oneshots, but they contain the same type of mature and subtle, well-paced relationships in her longer works. The most developed piece in this is about an 18yo student Yuusuke who places an ad for his ideal man, but never has the courage to approach them when they show up. He takes a chance on Gouki, who is ten years his senior and not interested in anything serious. Despite that, we watch them fall in love and later navigate hurdles like work and past lovers.

This collection of stories is an homage to the author’s fetish for glasses. I don’t remember a thing about the stories.
